This movie may not be that interesting to someone who is not a Halo fan but it is an absolute must see for everyone who is. It chronicles how John 117 became The Master Chief. From childhood all the way to the events leading up to Halo 5. The animation is beautiful. The story and voice acting are on par for animated films.

If you read the book, it follows it fairly closely. The movie was good but not great. I have a strong interest in the Halo franchise, since Halo on the original Xbox (with the huge controller). It definitely worth watching, but with a little extra effort, could have been great! Nonetheless, you'll be entertained.

The fall of reach does a great job of telling what happened before the epic trilogy of Halo begins. After having read the books i can say they didn't leave out any important details. The story was wonderfully told and true enough to the books only thing missing for me was the events during reach falling.

This was a great movie and I was excited since I had already read the book and graphic novel it was based on. Only wish it would have been longer and covered all the story from the book.

This is a great story, really gets you in the mood for some serious Halo play afterward. The blu-ray quality is outstanding, i highly recomend this to the franchise fans.

For people that do not know of master chief it is a great way to know were he came from and all the things that he had to go through to become who he is.

I am a halo fan, so I expected to have a little more in terms of background, and possibly missions before the Fall of Reach. All in all, I liked it.

I liked it. I thought they did a really good job on this movie although I wouldn't recommend it to someone who's not a fan of the halo series.

This movie explains how 117 became to the rank of Master Chief, I believe this is a necessary if you must know the Halo story it also shows the other Spartans Besides 117 , what I do not like about this movie was that was too short and bad CGI that's it , ... buy the Blu ray version not the DVD Blu rays playback and when scratched DVDs don't

I bought this movie for myself and thought that maybe the grand kids might like it also. boy did they.i had to end up giving it to them!

I would have liked it to be a little longer. It's very good to watch even if you are not a halo fan. Hopefully more like this come out.

My boyfriend got this for himself and was watching it so I kind of watched it myself. Not bad since I don't know anything about halo.

My son is a huge Halo fan and loves this movie...watches it constantly and wishes they would make another one.

Having read the Halo series books and played the games I think this was a well done movie.

For all those who love the halo series this movie hits the mark should watch with all halo fans

Definitely interesting, had good action and appeals to more than just the teenie gamer crowd.

The film was animation and wasn't what I expected but I was entertained n really enjoyed it.

It was finally great to see where the story started and what the Spartans had to endure.

This direct-to-DVD/BluRay movie is strictly for the hardest of hardcore HALO fans. It has very high production values, excellent animation & voice acting. There are a lot of inside type of references that, if you're not familar with the games, comics or novels, you might get a bit lost - unlike any of the previous HALO programs.

We enjoyed the movie and it was well made and gave a good background of the Halo story.
