This speaker is powerful. Great sound and easy to carry around. Also very attractive. It is however blue tooth so your device needs to stay in same room with it or it skips. Different from WiFi. But that’s the technology not the device. Really enjoying my music throughout my small house. I also loved the price! It went from $199 to $149 to $129 in a weeks time. I bought 3 - 1 each time the price dropped and Best Buy reduced the price on the previous ones to give me the lowest current price for all 3 ($129 each). It was awesome!

The studio 4 has an impressive sound quality. A portable speaker with big bass, crisp highs, and smooth mids, all with a long battery life. Although, it is quite bulky, the studio 4 is light for such a powerful speaker.

Really good quality for the price. Not as loud as the HK Aura studio but it is wireless AND it can be paired with other Onyx Studios, so all in all, that makes it better than the Aura Studio!! Charge lasts for a long time and easy to transport to other places! I love my Onyx studio!

I absolutely love the speaker! I have HK in my car and was thrilled when I saw this speaker because the sound quality is in a class of its own!! It sounds amazing, nothing like any other Bluetooth speaker. I purchased it before going to SC to see my brother and after hearing it, he got one too while I was there. We downloaded the app and synced them together, which was very easy and awesome! I plan on purchasing a few more for my house to replace my home stereo. I brought it to the beach and the battery lasted the entire day!! I highly recommend this product.

The Onyx Studio speakers sound amazing for their size. Rich, full sound with surprisingly strong bass capability. I'm honestly very impressed with this speaker and I'm not one that is easily impressed. Not the most portable of speakers, but it does have a built-in battery for on the go or outdoor use. Just be sure not to get it wet, as it has no IPX rating at all. Even better, get a pair of these and play them together in wireless mode. Great speaker and highly recommended when these run on sale. Attached pic is of the Onyx Studio 4 next to the Archeer A320 Bluetooth speaker.

Balanced sound with strong bass low that you can feel. Best for playing dance music. Good comparable value for money. Nice feature with HK+ Connection App to connect 100+ same speakers. It is loud for its size.

It’s kind of ironic but as I type this review, I’m sitting in front of the empty boxes! Anyhow, it’s a very to easy to use speaker and is actually the third one I purchased. The first one was for myself and the second was for a gift. I love the speakers and if you do not have a wireless Bluetooth speaker, I highly recommend getting this. It’s the same brand I have in my BMW.

I purchased two of these speakers a few weeks back. They were of sale for $212.oo each. Awesome bluetooth speakers but the current price is $449.00. I would definitely not pay full price...wait for them to go on sale. Also buy two because you can connect both speakers and they really sound great. Fact you can connect several of these speakers at once.

Excellent sound deep base perfect for home or work. You can use it plugged in or charge it when battery runs out about 5hrs in my experience mid volume. You will not be disappointed with this.

Best portable blue tooth speaker that can punch out as much as 60 watts RMS. Much more volume, louder than those other more expensive competing blue tooth portable speakers. The low bass produced is amazingly body thumping and yet the mid and highs are clear and audible. Blue tooth 4.1 connectivity is fast and compatible with all my bluetooth equipment. No problem with synching. Works fine with connecting to your phone for hands free communication. If you play this speaker in your car or truck, the base resonates like a true active subwoofer. Keep power plugged in for even louder output. Able to connect 2 blue tooth devices and alternate between device to share audio output. You can also connect with traditional stereo audio plug, for audio devices that don't have blue tooth connectivity. Awesome speaker, you can pair it up to another onyx 4 speakers to extend the sound coverage. A speaker that you will not be disappointed with, for it's size, weight, connectivity, and overall performance.

I bought three of these on sale from BB. I gave one to my son for his birthday. We compared the HK speaker side-by-side with my Sonos Play 5 (gen 2), using both Bluetooth and a line-in to each speaker with a Dragonfly Red DAC. HK has more native bass and a slightly better sound for pop and jazz music. Sonos P5 has more clarity that is great for audiophile listening but wasted on normal music. Bluetooth connection (without DAC) sounds just as good for the HK speaker. Took the other two HK speakers to my company holiday party and used Bluetooth from my iPhone7 as the music source. Speakers would only work one at a time from my phone (need another HK component to link the speakers) but each speaker on its own blasted a large room (75'x75') with 50 people. Bluetooth connection is easy to make and speaker is very intuitive in operation. Do I prefer it to my Sonos P5? HK is way more portable (smaller/lighter) and has built-in BT. Sonos has more clarity for audiophile and hi-def music.
