Excellent sequel movie, great special movie effects, if you watch it in 4k format you will enjoy exclusive visual effects that you are missing in dvd or Blu-ray format. Recommend it for the whole family and you will watch it over and over because it has a very good story. Couldn’t wait much longer to upgrade my Blu-ray version to 4k format to enjoy the great details in the whole movie that didn’t notice when it was released in Blu-ray.

Many people criticize this movie for not being AS good as the first film, but I feel this is a strong continuation of the story and creates some really great character moments along with some of The most impressive creature effects done in modern cinema. Seeing this movie on crystal clear 4K really is a great new way to experience the film, especially with the bright reds, organges, and greens that really pop off the screen. This set comes packed with hours of special features that every fan of the series will love as well as a digital redemption code.

I am more and more impressed with 4K as a format as more releases come out. While every release I've bought, so far, has been an improvement over the Bluray some are slightly better and some are night and day different. This is one that really pops with color thanks to HDR. I love it when I have a movie like this on Bluray and thought that it couldn't get any better and then 4K blows it out of the water. Not all 4K releases are this impressive.

This is a movie with a heavy usage of practical effects, and a minimal usage of CGI. Overall, this has caused it to agw exceedingly well. Colors are more vibrant, and small details seem more noticeable. Additionally, the audio is much improved over other editions. All things considered, it is well worth the money; a happy edition to anyone's home entertainment collection.

Hellboy II The Golden Army is an amazing 4K HDR disc! It is a full screen disc, with NO black Bars, so that is great. The colors are brilliant. The clarity of the 4K is just awesome!!! The HDR colors all pop out and are just fantastic! I just with the first Hellboy was available in 4K as. well. Ah well, someday it will be. But Hellboy II is amazing and looks fantastic!!!

Hellboy 2 is a prime example of a sequel that improves upon its predecessor in every way - more kinetic action, a more engaging villain, and greater personal stakes for its hero and love interest, all while surrounded by some of the most impressive, unique makeup and creature effects ever committed to film, which you can always expect from a Guillermo del Toro film.

Wow, they added detail is pretty awesome on the 4K Blu-ray. Del Toro used a lot of practical effects in this film so it is really great to be able to appreciate all of that due to the added detail level of 4K. Also, the colors really pop on this film due to the HDR. The soundtrack is also great, really solid throughout. Highly recommended.

Guillermo del toro just knows how to keep you engaged in a movie! This is an amazing sequel to the first hellboy. Amazing visual effects and prosthetics used in the movie. Everything in this movie is phenomenal from Ron pearlmans acting, to the make up. This Is a movie that you should definitely watch watch if you haven’t see it!

This is the second Steelbook I’ve bought for this same movie. The original one was the comic book series one from years back. I never loved it, but it was good enough. When I saw this one I had to have it! The Steelbook itself looks decent. It’s a nice matte finish. Mine has a thin cut across the front, but barely noticeable. The art on it and everything else about it is much better than the original one. I would recommend it.

I love this movie and it makes me sad because I felt that we were just scratching the surface on what Del Toro was bringing to the character. How with the fantasy imagery, 4k really does it justice. Worth the watch just for that.

Pretty good movie. Not as good as the first one but it was a nice follow-up. Was looking forward to a third to continue the trilogy but not with the studio had in mind. Which is unfortunate considering the ending of Hellboy 2

I guess the producers of the original Hellboy movies decided to see how Hellboy II did before releasing Hellboy I. The blu ray was beautiful the 4K is even better, sharp picture, great colors. Hope they release the first one.

Have held off buying this movie for some time, waiting for blue ray release. Picture quality is excellent and Hellboy II still holds up to repeat viewing for fans of genre fantasy films. Not a fan of every Guillermo del Toro film, but this is among his more interesting and well done projects.

This was the best hellboy thus far it gets even better as they make them the theme of the GOLDEN ARMY WAS BRILLIANT WRITING the scenes special effects were magnificent I’ll give this film a ten!!

Great picture awesome sound. The UHD disc doesn’t have as many extras as the Blu-ray but they put the rest of them on the Blu-ray that’s included. I would recommend this DVD well worth the cost.

In 4k, all Hellboy fans should own. Wonderful sound and sharper image...A must watch and add to your 4k collection. Way better than the rebooted Hellboy movie. It's just a different level.

Hellboy II looks fantastic in 4K, with its multitude of creatures and environments that just squeal for more fine resolution. So beautiful and no discernible defects in the 4K upgrade.
