I wanted something on my desk to look at from time to time to take me out of the work zone and into a short break. A beta fish seemed to be a popular choice of some coworkers, but I didn't want anything truly "alive" because I'm often away from the office for days. I saw this jellyfish at Best Buy and thought, why not? It's really neat! It'll be "sleeping" then sense my movement then it comes alive slowly with its lights on and twirls in the water. It's whimsical, and I'm glad I purchased it!

Not as cool as the fish but a good learning experience for the kids to see how the jellyfish move on top of water at slow rate. Like that it turns itself off.

Great toy when it works, lights up and went up & down about 5X then stopped working. Changed batteries and the weights. Nothing but a dead Hexbug Jellyfish. Returning, Not sure if I am buying another one. PS. I only paid 7.49 still may not be worth it

I purchased the toy for my nephew as a christmas gift. I added some of teh other little aquabots too. He absolutely loved the jellyfish. When put in a space with the other bots which would get caught in its tenticles, it was easily to set them free again. It was weird that a very tiny tool was included that helps open the battery area. That small peice can be lost and nearly discarded without knowing it's purpose or that it was anything but a scrap peice.

It’s pretty simple to work, just put in a jar of water and it swims around! My niece enjoyed it, she wants more toys like this!

My niece was overjoyed with this little gadget. It actually moves and spins. It was more that I expected.

My kid loved this jellyfish for about 15 minutes then it sank to the bottom and would never turn on again. I changed batteries and still nothing. We did have a 2nd one and that one still seems to be okay.

Advertised as a fish you can put in your aquarium and will swim around and shut off on its own, but it's actually not meant to stay in the water. Would be much better as a bath toy. I've exchanged this item twice and they both stopped swimming as well (even with a battery change) after two weeks. Sucks because I purchased a small aquarium JUST for these things. Don't waste your money.

Bought it as a pool toy and my kid loves to play with it. Swims as described and durable.

My 5 year old saw this and really wanted it. He lost interested in it quickly- doesn't float around much before shutting off.

Hexbug - AquaBot Jellyfish Fun water toy for the bathtub or the pool

After 1 week it was full of water and the batteries corroded. I cleaned the contacts, dried it out, and replaced the batteries. It remained dead.

Makes bathtime so much easier cause he has so much fun

ETHEI have twin great gransons that are 6 years old . they wanted these for about 7 m0nths when I SAW THE GREAT PRICE AT BEST BUY I BOUGHT ALL SEVEN. THE BOYS WERE ESTATIC AND THEY SLILL PLAY TOGETHER
