Best buy would have replaced the scooter, but they did not have any in stock, and I would have had to wait a week which wasn't possible... That being said, my wife has the exact same scooter, and hers is great! No issues whatsoever. She definitely would have given it a five-star rating. I don't think this review should deter anybody from purchasing. I'm sure it is a very rare occurrence which I experienced.

I ride it with my grandchildren, who are on bikes. I required some assembly. The instructions were not very good. But I was able to get it together and it has worked fine.
