    Hisense television sound issues

    Right at the closing of my window of time to return the item, the sound began cutting out when I turn it on. I failed to reach out by one day in order to be able to return/exchange it. Hisense tech support had me unplug and plug back in - cold restart - it did not fix the problem. Email to Hisense has not been responded to.

    decent TV with decent features. I bought this TV for our little girl's room in 6/2021. Last night 12/2022 it doesn't work anymore. It powers on for a second and then it turns itself off. For the price I would thought it could last for 5yrs. Probably will never buy another Hisense

    I may have a defective item. The apps often don’t work, forcing me to restart the tv. The sound level is extremely different across apps. It will randomly shut off and turn off at random times of the day. When switching from one app to another, the first app audio will continue to play in the background. Wouldn’t recommend.

    Two Fatal Flaws

    I have a lot of things I LOVE about this TV but there are 2 dealbreakers: 1) cannot be added to speaker groups in Google Home (despite everywhere on the internet saying this is possible) and 2) randomly does not respond to the power on button and requires an unplug/replug. That happens about every 2-3 times I turn the TV off. I'll be returning soon. This is my feedback and no, I won't be putting more of my time and effort into calling an 800 number or sending an email without compensation.

    Stay Away, poorly manufactured.

    Purchased 10/27, on 1/16, the remote stopped working, changed batteries, still nothing. I opened up the remote , since I've been able to find "cold solder joints", on cheap Chinese items in the past, I found solder joints actually missing. I imagine the TV was assembled with the same attention to detail. Bottom line stay away from this brand, I have several Insignia sets and have had only 1 problem with them which I was able to repair. I will stick with Insignia in the future.
