The reason for doing that was it has all the android apps I need so no need for a new firestick.

That being said my major issue is that even though this TV comes with an ethernet port many features do not work when you use a wired connection vs a wireless one. In the settings under the network section you have options for 1. Wake on Wireless, 2. Wake on LAN, 3 Wake on Cast. When you connect an ethernet wire to the TV the Wake on Cast feature is grayed out and unavailable. I tested many times and it will not wake the TV. If you remove the wire and go back to wireless then the option becomes available and does work with the main EXCEPTION being that after a few hours or especially overnight the TV drops its wireless connection rendering the Wake on Cast feature useless. I called Hisense and they informed me that this is proper operation of this TV. Very Disappointed that the one of my main features that I looked for in a TV(ethernet port) renders fundamental features of a Smart TV useless. Even my expensive Sony TV drops wireless being in standby. Thats not uncommon but having these features only available on wireless which doesn't work when it always drops makes no sense. Being able to have a reliable connection would have made me give this TV a full 5 stars as everything else is as advertised after owning this TV for almost a month now.
