    I bought this TV a month ago. Everything I watch is JUMPY! Makes the viewing experience very frustrating. Not to mention the picture quality is not what I'd expect from a 4K UHD mini-LED TV. I've fiddled with settings over and over again to try and make it better. I thought maybe it was just on YouTubeTV, but it's on all streaming platforms. I love watching sports, and the football disappears because of how blurry the motion is. Same with hockey. Pair that with the jumpy stream and I have big-time buyers remorse.

    I returned this TV after having it for one day. I was just not impressed with the picture. I got an LG OLED instead. Maybe the picture would have been better on the Hisense if I gave it more time and adjusted it more. But the OLED just looked great right out of the box.

    Routinely Drops Internet -- Do Not Buy!!

    I bought 2 of these TVs and experienced both of them dropping the wifi signal repeatedly, often every 15 minutes or so. One of the TVs is located within 2 feet of the modem/wireless router, the other is in the next room, less than 40 feet away with line-of-sight to the router. We originally thought it was a problem with the ISP, but all of other devices hold the signal without dropping it. Geek Squad rep said that it was a common problem with these TVs. Do not understand how BestBuy can sell a smart TV that routinely drops the wireless signal (not to mention how Hisense can sell such garbage.

    Manufacturing Defect

    There's a manufacturing defect. The optical cable port is defective and will not allow the cable to be plugged in. I am in touch with Hisane and I hope they can do something quickly after I've wasted hours trying to address the issue. I've tried two different optical cables that work perfectly in other devices.

    This set was a disappointment for me. I really was looking forward to it but noticed a defect right away. In the lower left hand corner the number 10 was ghosting on some pixels and remained regardless of the content. This looked to be a software issue. Even after a factory reset did the image remain. I guess there were some quality control issues. Also, the dirty screen effect was very noticeable on this set. The picture was bright otherwise but I returned the set.

    Its unfortunate that best buy knows the Hisense U8K has compatibility issues and that its Dolby Vision is not working properly even after all this time the manufacturer still has not fixed by update. From hdmi handshake issues to the dolby vision not working correctly to the fact the product does not possess enough ram to handle Google TV correctly its a great way to find out Best Buy is a disengenous retailer.

    The platform seems to be a little glitchy. i've experienced issues like no sound and apps failing to load. but everything worked after powering the unit down and restarting it.

    Worst TV I have ever owned. We have to goto settings every time we switch from TV to streaming channels to change from tv speaker to eArc. On regular basis shows on streaming apps pause while talking continues. Had it about 20 days and cleared Cache at least 5 times. Tv also can’t process commands fast enough. We push home button and it takes 30 seconds for Home Screen to pop up.
