This is an awesome tv with many features packed in. Colors are vivid, has 120hz/240hz future proofing it, good console picture, and alot of solid options. What blew me away was the sound quality that it has! No need for a soundbar or sub with this tv. Id definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good budget option but doesn't compare to newer OLED's. I bought this TV and LOVED it but couldnt get over the colors and vivid image of the oleds. If you want quality without an expensive price tag this TV IS IT

Lets start by just saying wow....just wow...this from someone who is finally making the transition from a 40" 1080p, budget tier, flatscreen to this. Well it has just left me and my family speechless! The visual quality of the movies and shows I have watched so far have been stunning. The dark scenes that are displayed on this are almost near OLED level of blacks. Scenes in movies like Mad Max and Dune seem surreal and the visual quality has me looking forward to movie night in my home! I was able to purchase the TV when it was on sale for around $750 and I consider that to be an amazing deal, especially given the quality of the screen. For comparison, the TCL QM8 and Sony X90L are the direct competitors to this TV and review sites have the U8K matching and exceeding the quality, in some cases, over those two more expensive panels. Overall 5/5 stars for this happy customer!

This TV has all the qualities that you are looking for in an advance smart TV having  Extra Brightness, Dolby Vision, High Refresh Rate and excellent built quality, But If you are thinking that you can skip a soundbar or a separate sound system then you are wrong. Even with a built in subwoofer and 50 watts of speakers it does not have Wow factor in sound.

If you're looking for a middle to middle high-end TV this is it my opinion! Don't get me wrong it's not no OLED, but this mini LED TV packs a punch and can offer close to what a oled can offer my opinion, just slightly under. It offers a amazing picture in general. Great for any of streaming services that use HDR and Dolby vision. Which is great. Along side if you like to game this TV is great also!! Overall this is a great deal! I would highly recommend this TV!!!

Absolutely stunning picture pretty much out of the box. Did a little tweaking, but really didn’t need to PS5 Pro, UHD 4K looks absolutely incredible on this, almost too real. First Hisense TV here, We shall see about the dependability.

The good: - beautiful perfect black levels - wonderful colors once calibrated - physical switch to turn of mic - variable refresh rate works without noticeable flicker - Google TV has any app you could ever want - has headphone out The bad: - skin tones look horrible before calibration you must calibrate - With a VA panel the after image is so bad watching 30fps video has distracting levels of ghosting. - Getting a little off center makes colors go bad - Could not get 144hz 4k working with 2 different HDMI 2.1 cable and RTX 3090. Could only get 120hz 4k - this had 5 speakers 1 being a small sub and the sound is still way worst than my 49" LG nanocell TV. Not bad sound, but not great. Kind of sounds like it has a cheap amp inside. - there are a ton of different ways to get you info taken when using this TV. It's hard to find all the opt out stuff in the menus. Tip: you don't need any of the Hisense stuff. This way only Google take your info not Hisense (China) and google. Overall the ghosting and sound is what got me. This same TV as a 40" IPS panel with better sound would be the perfect TV. Additional note: my calibration color settings were as so, under picture calibration settings color tuner Red, Hue 1, Sat 0, Bright 1, Blue, H 0 S-1 B -1, Yellow H2 S2 B0, Under Settings > Picture > Color set Color to 50, Hue 0, Color Temp Warm2, Color Space Native

Peak brightness is above advertised. The black levels are really good sound is great (didn’t need a sound bar), gaming visuals are crisp and latency is extremely low. . At the pricepoint it punches way above its class. The most pleased I’ve been with a tv to date.

I've had this TV for over a year and am still very happy with it. The picture is beautiful (I turn off all the post-processing stuff and choose prety neutral settings), and the sound is surprisingly good although I use a soundbar most of the time. The local dimming seems to work well, I haven't noticed any bloom or anything. Google TV gives me all the apps I need, although I personally find it very annoying and intrusive (like most Google things); I used to use a custom launcher but they seemed to make that harder and harder so I just relented and deal with it. I have my gaming PC hooked up to it and the high refresh rate looks buttery smooth, too. The remote has a good layout, although I hate the dedicated buttons, but that seems unavoidable these days. Overall, I'm very happy with this TV and I intend to keep it for many more years.

I got this TV for my [covered] back patio in S. Fla because I needed something incredibly bright and with little glare to compete with the intense sun. I compared this side by side with a Samsung QN90B and for an outside environment this TV was the hands down winner, despite lower quality audio and slightly lower quality specular highlights compared to the Samsung. The picture quality is great for an LCD, but it doesn’t compete with my OLEDs - except for its incredible brightness. The audio gets plenty loud but it doesn’t sound that great. There is this weird subwoofer grill that protrudes out the rear of this TV so if you have a wall mount with a plate meant to rest against the back on the panel, it will be awkward to use with this TV. I have such a mount and expected the grill the rattle and sound muffled against the mount but there’s nothing like that even at max volume. The Android TV features easily outclass the proprietary offerings of other TVs and the smart features operate smoothly on this TV. I got this TV at an incredible price, but it is a Chinese brand, so decide for yourself if it’s worth any ethical or craftsmanship concerns

Very good bang for the buck. Got this TV based off of several tech site recommendations. Very good picture and easy to set up and use. Only gripe is that the UI is slow at times and has frozen on me at least once.

Absolutely fantastic TV! The Hisense U8K has exceeded all my expectations. The picture quality is stunning with vibrant colors and deep blacks, making movies and shows incredibly immersive. The 4K resolution is crystal clear, and the HDR performance is top-notch. I love the sleek design, and the built-in smart features make streaming a breeze. The sound quality is surprisingly good for a TV, and the overall user interface is intuitive and responsive. For the price, this TV offers exceptional value. Highly recommend to anyone in the market for a new TV! Five stars!

The largest issue with this tv is the fact it is a hisense. If it was a sony or samsung it would be the tv of the year. It built in an already impressive u8h playform. It doesnt get as bright as its predecessor, but the blooming and color performance exceeds it. It is the nearest to an OLED tv you can find at the moment. The processung is also much better than last year. It has a wonderful ability to smooth and updcale. The processing is just up to par with the competition. Mini-LED is the best for brighter rooms. The blooming is hardly noticeable in dark rooms. I would definitely say this TV rivals the x93l, Qn90c, qn95c, and many more. But at the fraction of a price. Again, Hisense isnt a household name, but they make a profuct that meets, and sometimes exceeds the quality of the big names.

Totally blown away with the amazing picture and sound! I bought this U8N for my bedroom without any big expectations. Boy was I impressed when I turned this unit on. I have a Sony A80L in the living room and this U8N gives it a major run for the money. The brightness and picture quality is amazing. I’ve even thought about making my U8N my primary living room TV. The sound is great too, no need for a sound bar. What a great deal this TV is!

This is a solid midrange TV. I think it's a great choice for game consoles and regular TV video use. It does a decent HDR because of its brightness and solid contrast. Lovely colors too. However for PC use there are a few issues. When I enabled Gsync on my RTX 3080, I sometimes saw backlight strobing. This seems to happen if the frame rate is on the low end, such as during loading screens. This is pretty hard on the eyes up close. The grey uniformity of my TV was poor. It reminded me of my 2017 LG OLED. I'm not sure why a regular LCD panel would be deemed acceptable with patchy grey. I noticed it during initial setup because their UI exposes it with grey backgrounds. This is something most people won't notice though.

Very good image quality, good sound and very rich colors. But good in used for games. One drawback of this TV is its standard firmware, which was a little buggy in the early days, but after the update everything stabilized, now everything works perfectly.
