I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to test out this Hisense 60" 4K TV (60DU6070). Out of the box, setup is quick with an easy step-by-step manual and an onscreen setup wizard. The feet only require four screws; that I was able to install by myself (not recommended). I have several TV's and understand that there is a vast difference between brands, features, and or price points. The first thing I wanted to see with this model, was if I could tell that the 4K was worth hype and distinguishable from my other flat panels. Again, after easily setting up the Wi-Fi (I have a good connection at a high Mpbs) I streamed a couple of movies in UHD. With this model, I will say that the contrast ratio (contrast between light and dark) is less than ideal. I found the easiest fix to be setting your own personal viewing preferences for each preset picture mode (Theater, game, standard) and adjusting as needed. Not real convenient but after that I was AWED! I played around with some of the apps (I will come back to this) and found Pluto TV pre-installed with one of the channels simply named 4K TV. The channel is a visual tour of some of the most scenic spots around the world. While watching, I truly appreciated the value of this new 4K technology and the display provided from this model. The number one thing that stands out to me is distances; you can stare off into the horizons as if you were there. Simply amazing. As for the apps, there are plenty to keep you assumed but some very noticeable ones missing like HBO, Showtime, & Hulu. Not a deal breaker for me personally because I have an Xbox One (a gaming console and media streaming device) that I can stream these others on. Maybe, these are coming in the future? Past that the constant changing of the picture, I really enjoy this TV and will keep it as my go to device because of what else it brings to the table... The Sound. The built in speakers, sound modes, and settings for sound set this unit apart in my opinion. Built in sound features within the TV is normally not, what you buy in a model at this price point. That said, I also have a sound bar that I have used on other models but I have since turned off because it is not needed. While watching a movie I have seen one-hundred times before, I turned on the extended sound features (Hisense's Total Sonic, Total Surround, & Total Volume) and was blown away by the sound distribution (I could hear clear talking behind me). To wrap up, this TV would be Great for a more tech savvy person who does not mind playing with the features and settings to get the best desired results.. Maybe not so much for someone else.

This tv is terrible. It does NOT have 4k, and does not upscale. The companies support is not good. Just believe me when I say that everything with this tv is a headache if you try to get what you pay for in this product. No 4k. My mothers older Samsung tv out performs this tv in every way and it cost less. If you try to use the smart tv choice, EVERYTHING IS ABYSMALLY SLOW. If you bring it up to support, all they say to do is reset the firmware and it should fix everything. Believe me, this TV sucks.

I had purchased this 4K TV on Black Friday 2017 for roughly 500 bucks. I have had nothing but bad luck with this TV, interferes with my sound bar, screens are lagging. Netflix is slow/buffers (wifi is fine to run Netflix on all other devices) etc. I have since taken it back. Spend the couple extra bucks and get a TV that is of good quality/reviews I will be worth it in the end.

The TV market is as competitive as ever and when it comes to large 4K TVs, I expect at least 3 HDMI ports, 4K60p support, Smart/App support, and at least one USB port. The Hisense 60DU6070 was released in 2017 and checks all these boxes. 3D is out and 4K is in, although ironically it seems like there are still more 3D sources than 4K sources. Anyway, this Hisense supports 4K at up to 60Hz. With my Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 and an appropriate cable, I was able to connect and see a very clear picture. The need to connect a computer is lessened however, due to the Smart (aka apps) feature. You'll find apps for Netflix, VUDU, and more on-board. Navigating is responsive and one of the benefits of using the built-in Netflix app is its support for 4K (assuming you're paying for that option in your plan). Unless you have one of the latest streaming boxes that supports 4K output, you'll need to use the app for 4K) If you haven't purchased a TV in a decade, you might be surprised to hear the sound quality. As TVs have gotten thinner with small bezels, sound quality from the built-in speakers is not as good as older TVs. This is easily remedied via the use of a soundbar or surround sound system. With that said, the Hisense's built-in speakers sound a little better than I expected, but I still pair it with a soundbar. Of course, most sources are not 4K and the TV does a nice job of upsampling to improve on the source. It of course will not compare to true 4K but it's definitely not as bad as when the first HD TVs came out and watching SD material. There are detachable legs included with the TV for tabletop use, but they attach towards the edges of the TV meaning you'll need at least a 45" wide surface. This can be remedied (which I did) by purchasing third-party mounts that use the VESA mounting interface. Or of course you can wall mount. Overall, I found this a competitive option when it comes to a 60" 4K Smart TV. This may be a Best Buy-exclusive model as I don't see any 60" models on the Hisense website.

    Decent Set For The Price

First off, the set was easy to unpack with the clip release system. Simply remove the 4 clips and slide the entire box off. Set-up was easy, and was quick on connecting to my Wi-Fi home system. I also plugged in a desktop computer to one of the 3 HDMI ports available (I used the 4K 60Hz) It fit the whole TV screen perfectly without any setting adjustments. The Blacks and Contrast looks pretty darn good considering the low price for this set. I watched some videos with a lot of motion (Football, Nascar) and it looked very clear with great blacks that made the colors "pop", but the quick motion, at times didn't seem to me,to be as smooth as you would naturally see. The sound can get really loud BUT I just plugged in my home theater surround system into the HDMI ARC jack and it works really good but I have to note that my surround system did play somewhat better on my LG TV. There is also a 5-bar equalizer available in the settings/sound so you can tune the sounds to your preferences. I do like that it is available! I do like this 4K TV but I have to say I have already had a couple of issues as follows: -There is a distinct odor to it, like a cross between a "New Smell" and like the electronics may run a little hot. This does worry me some, but hopefully it will dissipate after more hours of use. -I went into the settings (picture & sound) to tweak it to my liking (and to explore) and then went onto the Youtube app, checked out a couple of videos with no problem. I watched a couple of 4K and even 8K videos on Youtube and they looked fantastic I have to say.........But then when trying to switch back to TV, the remote would not work. Even when I tried to turn it off...So I had to unplug it from the wall, wait a minute and power back up and then it was fine. I did not like that this happened with a new TV and maybe it was just a "hang-up" of sorts but hopefully it won't keep doing this! Overall the TV is pretty good, good volume, really good picture, easy Wi-Fi set up and I have only had the issues listed above. I would say that if you are looking for a Large 4K flat screen and don't want to break the bank, this TV may be a great choice for you. I, myself however, will probably spend a few hundred more on my next set.....but that is just me

The display resolution of the television is dependent on the source material, and a 4K television will more accurately display the imperfections of standard definition material. Viewing 4K content using the pre-installed Netflix, Amazon, or YouTube applications should display the full resolution of the television. If you have any issues with picture quality, please call us at 1-888-935-8880 so that we can assist you with your television. Hisense

I was very hesitant to purchase this TV as there is little information online about this particular model and it had mixed reviews in Bestbuy.com but I was looking for a big 60” TV for my bedroom (and finally upgrade my 5 year old Hisense Full HD 40” display which has worked very well and is the same brand), so I decided to give it a go. First of all, you need to realize you aren’t gonna get premium image quality or features as you would on OLED displays. However, this TV delivers great image quality for a budget display and Netflix and Youtube streaming work flawlessly. I do have a home theater system but I wanted to try my new TV’s sound and, whereas it ain’t Bose quality by any means, I was mesmerized by the loud speakers it’s got, specially considering we’re talking about a very thin edgelit LED display. And speaking of edgelit LED displays, I purchased this one the day after Christmas and my family has been using it heavily since then. So far, I haven’t seen any noticeable light leaks or clouds. Color wise, I think I’ll need to adjust the settings as most shows image seem to be a little washed out, but nothing to worry about. Only downer would be the remote control, which sometimes is a little frustrating as I need to press the buttons more than once so it works (I’ve realized I need to press once per second so it works as it should, which I find ludicrous as that of my old tv worked very fast). I won’t be taking any stars off for the remote because I think all things considered this is a great deal for a big UHD TV and I’m very happy with my purchase. I only hope it lasts for at least as long as my old one has.

I'm enjoying my experience with the Hisense 60" 4K UHD television. Setup was quick and easy - I liked the option of selecting the default input that will always open when turning on the unit. Colors are vivid on the large screen, with only a few imperfections toward the far edges. I didn't experience much lag at all, watching content from a Chromecast, OTA live TV, and through a multimedia player. And the built-in Netflix/Vudu/Youtube access providing 4K content showcased the brilliant screen. The build is somewhat bulky when using the provided stands, but I will be mounting this television and don't foresee many aesthetic issues. There are only three HDMI ports, which may turn off some. Finally, the remote is standard fare, but I do love the dedicated buttons for the aforementioned video services. I do have some issues having to do multiple button presses at times, but it's only a slight perturbance and nothing that changes my mind on this solid, affordable television. Full disclosure, I received this product for my honest, unbiased review.

Well it took me a while to get setup because I needed a new stand to hold this large screen. I replaced a 30" that fit in a small cabinet and had to get a console table to hold this 60". But once I had the table setup this tv was a piece of cake. The picture is great, the setup was quick and easy (although slightly different than in the manual) and there are a decent number of ports. Also the smart features work well with no lag. I plan to hook up additional devices in the future but wanted to report now rather than wait. I am a big LG fan but this Hisense is equal in my mind. It comes with 3 HDMI (although spec says 2 HDCP2.2 inputs), 1 USB, 1 digital optical out, 1 composite video in, 1 analog audio out, Antenna in, headphone out, ethernet port. It's also wifi enabled for smart features. The picture and sound are great. I have played Xbox watched DVD and streamed Vudu HD movies. I have not hooked in Fios yet though. The setup out of the box was quick and easy and the on screen setup started automatically (better than the way described in the manual) All you have to do is attach the legs, set it up, plug it into power and turn on. The tv will walk you through the rest. Connect to Ethernet or wifi for Smart features and updates. I am very happy with this tv and would recommend it if you are in the market for one.

TV has no hdr, thus Netflix content on hdr looks dimmed and dark with no detail. I tried everything (I am not a tech expert but know my way around electronics very well), and it was impossible to making it look right. Hisense customer service said it was a know issue and a possible update for the tv was needed. In the meantime I am streaming Netflix with a Chromecast Ultra and does not triggers the UHD driver and it looks very good, like a very good quality HD, a bit grainy but watchable. I tried 4k movies through Google play and they look very good. Built in apps have crashed the TV 3 times in 3 days. Overall, the unit has potential due to its low price, but it will require experimentation and patience. Oh and just like a previous reviewer said, videogames look like they should in 4k, nothing special but an upgrade if your TV is three years or older.
