I replaced a LG G4 with this projector in our tv room. With the proper preparation (seriously invest in a solid short throw screen and window coverings) you too can have a cinema quality experience at home. Stunning colors, great blacks and the muscle to handle gaming (PS5) and sports without compromising picture quality. The wow factor when paired with my Sonos surrounds and a DB 820 player is just kind of unbelievable. The tech has progressed so rapidly that today, an average home consumer can save $ for 12-18 months, invest 10k and then achieve a theater level of quality in picture and sound without taking out a second mortgage or even needing to hire a high fidelity installation specialist.

Wonderful UST projector. Top quality just projecting on wall. Imagine if there is a screen.

Dmd failure in 2 months best buy wont do anything

For a flag ship 6400 dollar projector to have a dmd failure of the optics drive is unacceptable. Best Buy wont do anything, the bank wont do anything. Everyone tells me to send it to the manufacturer. Its 2 months old. Its a lemon. Give me a new one or take this thing back. Im not paying for this I made 1 payment. See the white dot on the screen it stays white. More pixels are turning white. I spend 6 hours to be looped through phone calls to get no where. Stand behind your product bestbuy. I'll be canceling my card. For a customer that's spent well over 20k at your store you lost a customer.

    Hisense L9Q: A Game-Changer

I previously used the Epson EpiqVision Ultra LS800 4K PRO-UHD UST projector and faced several issues with focus and overall picture quality. After switching to the Hisense L9Q, the difference has been remarkable. I’ve been using it for about a month now, and the experience has been exceptional—extremely satisfied so far.

Great picture quality. Not easy to set up. Uses four screws to adjust the height to stabilize the picture on screen. Can take hours to adjust. Nice design and features on remote.

    Extremely Disappointed Cheap Quality Product

I regret purchasing a Hisense product, and I will never buy from this brand again. I spent $6,000 on the Hisense L9Q, expecting premium quality. Instead, I received a defective unit that had issues from the very beginning. Within about a month of use, the screen started constantly changing colors, making it extremely frustrating to watch. I even performed a full factory reset, but the issue persisted. To be clear, the projector has been barely used (around five times total), as I only started using it about two months after purchase while waiting for a custom screen. This is not normal wear and tear—this is a clear defect. Despite this, customer support informed me that the unit needs to be repaired, even though it failed within just a few months of purchase. This is completely unacceptable for a product at this price point. A premium device should function reliably out of the box, not break almost immediately. What’s even more disappointing is the way this is being handled. Instead of taking accountability, Hisense is asking me to ship the unit back for inspection, creating unnecessary inconvenience and wasting my time. For a product marketed as high-end, this is a very poor and customer-unfriendly approach. At this level of pricing, customers should expect quality, reliability, and responsive support. Unfortunately, my experience has been the opposite. This was my first and last Hisense purchase.

    Impossible to align the screen

absolute junk of a product. Bought this along with a 132" screen, and the best buy techs couldn't properly align the image in two failed attempts (6 hours on one day, and 3-4 hours on the second day). The manual doesn't even show the screen position measurements for a 132" screen. Calling Hisense customer service was a waste of time, as they said they have no clue. Best buy service manager has stopped responding to texts and now I have this piece of garbage sitting with no solution in sight.

Hi SriR, Thank you for choosing the Hisense L9Q and for sharing your feedback with us. We are sorry that you are having difficulties with screen alignment. Although it is tricky to explain such intricate setup over the phone, we did upload a detailed alignment tutorial video on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=It9NAGWqyyo&list=PLBHSWxwlM299nGsY3I7IAVkiVejSW9Ft2&index=1.
