The ability to use the top touch control was taken away, and it's responded to me when I haven't addressed it. Otherwise, it answers questions and performs simple tasks.

Great little smart assistant

I was so impressed that I purchased a Home mini while it was still on sale. I needed to replace an alarm clock in my bedroom. Instead the mini serves that purpose. When I wake up in the middle of the night, it tells me the time and temperature. I can set it to wake me up with Enya in the morning. It will also tell me jokes and fun facts to help me fall asleep. I can even use it to make telephone calls. I use it every day and I love it.
