I also bought a Pixel 3a phone and one of the things I really like is when I say "hey Google" my home mini answers rather than my phone. It was really annoying before when I was using my old HTC and I'd get answers from both my phone and the mini....

Great Product, I love it!

Though the speaker is small it has a great sound I didn't expect. I bought my first one a couple of months ago and picked up 2 more to have in several rooms. The best part is I can link them all together to play music around my whole home. The Assistant is quite convenient and always there to ask just about anything, even a joke.
