LOVE IT

So convenient to have Google home to ask questions, get updates, play music, check the weather, and have a little fun with those special little "easter eggs" built in. IT works very well, syncs right into the home wifi and even already knows about all the other compatible smart devices in the network.

I prefer over the Amazon echo
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.have been playing around with both the google home mini and the Amazon echo dot for a while. about the only thing I preferred the echo over the mini was that the echo picks up you voice better and at greater distance than the mini. probably due to the 7 mic array of the echo vs the 2 of the mini. My kids love it...

Lots of function for the price

We stream Pandora on it, use it as a timer and alarm clock, check the weather, and ask random questions without having to put on glasses and look it up on my phone. There are features I would like to use more, such as the custom news feed, but that's just a function of not having time. We haven't added any smart devices for it to control but even without them I've gotten my money's worth.

Comes in handy hundreds of times a day! I'm serious...we literally talk to it all day and night too! And love how it shows all our favorite pictures on a slide show 24/7! Such a great bonus! Gotta have 1 of these for sure!

I could not distinguish if it was a machine talking. Machines are getting smarter now a days. The only complaint is that it uses the Google main server though the internet. I wish it is the local Google home mini that is such smart so that I could use it in my robot project.
