Let me start by saying I love this gadget, but at this time, still prefer my Echo device for home automation. With that said, I purchased the Google Home at Best Buy for my wife to use mainly for music and to also help her with tasks, appointments and google calendar. This device excels in deciphering your speech and translating it into useful commands & searches. Google's music library is good too! My daughter likes animation songs which are readily available where other services did not have them in their libraries. Overall, the Google Home continues to be very impressive and is used daily by every member in our household.

Products too is overall good, but still not quite as capable as the Echo. If what you need is music, basic news and weather it's great, but it's app integration is too Google-focused.

Love the Google Home! My favorite use is checking sports scores for my husband without having to constantly search for the game while trying to watch a movie! Worth it for that alone!

From listening to the news in the morning to knowing the weather forecast and the time it would take to get to work, this Google home has become invaluable to my daily life

Works great. Plays music, sets alarm, tells me news, plays movies or videos on TV. Does almost everything. Just doesn't make calls but update will soon be available for that.

I love all the features that it has. It's the best! Loud speaker and she can look up anything you ask her! Also, give you an itinerary on train arrivals and departures!

This was the 3rd Google home that we purchased. Has great connectivity and clear sound.Obviously being we purchased a third we are fans of this product

I haven't tried to integrate it with many smart devices but I have used it with chromecast and it works great. I also subscribe to google play music, and I can ask it to play something specific and it's pretty much spot on for a specific song/video or playlist relating to a certain artist/genre, if I ask to play something. The sound isn't amazing, but I didn't get it for the speakers. I also tend to use use it for asking about weather and directions ( how long it takes to get somewhere), but also very good at holding a back and forth conversation, and referencing stuff on my calendar, if I ask what I have going on.

I love this it’s so easy to use. I love listening to music and I just say hey Google play a certain artist and it plays it I love it so easy

Love the interaction with Chromecasts. Getting my morning summary with traffic and weather is now part of my routine. Works best if you are already in the Google ecosystem

I have the Pixel and now that I have Google home it is a total package. Highly recommend Google Home, great sound quality and the response and voice recognition is wonderful

Great product. Love how Google answers question about the weather, music, finding phone numbers etc. Will recommend this to all of my friends. The whole family loves it.

I have been having fun with Google Home, but there were some things I wasn't expecting. First, you have to adjust your Google account to allow Google to save your history and voice actions; otherwise, the Google Home is reduced to basically being a speaker. It also had limitations to which music service you could use - limited options were available. While I know that Google Home's main competitor is the Amazon Echo, it would have been nice to be able to access the huge music library I have through Amazon. That being said, I chose Google Home over Amazon because of the greater search capabilities and other functionalities offered through Google.

Very easy to set up and use. It is really useful if you have a Spotify premium or google premium play account, so you play whatever song you want whenever you want

Love using this daily for weather and traffic reports, Linked to some of our lights and that is especially nice. Like being able to get radio stations with a quick command.

Bought this just for fun. Set up was easy. But need to spend some time figuring out some of the other things it can do besides asking google random questions or playing some songs.

It is great to have the depth of Google readily available. Certainly a disadvantage that it isn't a bluetooth receiver, but for general inquires and basic functions it works well.

Well I was spilt between Google home and alexa so I bought both to compare the two. Overall I am more impressed with google home. If your buying it for music go with alexa!

Unless your big reason for considering a smart speaker is to order new socks on Amazon without having to hop online (sorry, Mr. Baldwin), the Google home offers the best elements of the Amazon echo at a fraction of the cost. It is currently limited to cross-functionality with fewer smart home companies, but, as always, Google is promising to keep updating their product. And more often than not, they follow through (sorry Q buyers). To be honest though, the feature that makes this product and the Chromecast audio really worth it, is simultaneous audio streaming, now with voice control built into each and every Google home.
