Not only can this speaker play music, it can play a trivia game with you too! Google can even tell you how long your commute to work is! Definitely a great purchase!

I actually like this device. I don't tap into its potential as often as i should, but I do command it to play music almost everyday. Wonderful device.

Works great. Kids love asking google questions. Much better quality sound than I was expecting Pre-ordered the Google home minis because I like this so much.

Google home is great for checking sport scores, catching up with current events, and controlling multiple products in the house. Great purchase.

I am really enjoying the Google Home and feel it is a delightful and useful addition to my home. When the Google Home arrived I was quite impressed with its packaging. Very well thought out. It is simply beautiful and very well done. It is smaller than I thought it would be, which is a good thing and not at all obtrusive. Setup was simple - plug it in, download the Google Home app and I was ready to go. What I got right away is that using Google Home is really fun! You can ask/request anything you can and do ask of Google on other devices. What is the weather forecast? What is the distance to the moon? How do you make a pot-roast? What is the traffic like to LAX? I use Google to set a timer when I do my laundry; I ask her to add things to my shopping list as I think of them and when I'm ready, I ask her what is on my list. She stores the info so I don't have to remember. I used the app to link to my Pandora account in the app then I asked Google to play Pandora. It is amazing. She can clearly hear me from across the room and even while she is playing music. She lowers the music volume to hear me and keeps it low while she responds them immediately raises it back up. Awesome! This doesn't have the sound of a Bose Bluetooth speaker and I wouldn't expect that. But the sound is surprisingly good. Speaking of Bluetooth, this is WiFi only, no Bluetooth, so there is no way, at least not that I could figure out, to play the songs on my iPhone via Google Home. And that's OK, I have other devices that can do that for me. But maybe in time...? Also, I do not have any other devices that I can connect to Google Home. I don't have Chromecast at all. It is a stand alone unit for me. This is my answer box. My go-to. My memory assistant. My friend. My music box. My recipe holder. If I choose, she will play games and be my playmate. There is just so much she can do and I love it. Yes, there are many things Google is "learning" and I do feel that over time she will become even more intelligent. Would I recommended this? Absolutely.

This is a good piece of gadget to have if you love music and wants to free yourself from pushing the button. Just speak to it and you'll get what you want.

Okay, yes and no. The future is here in that I have a device at home that can connect to other devices AND give me (almost) every information at the tip of my fingers. But the AI and voice analysis is still spotty and have lots of improvements to make. I'm excited to control my chromecast and play songs and ask random questions and add stuff to my shopping list with just my voice but I'm even more excited for the day that conversation feels more fluid (and not have to repeat myself multiple times sometimes) and for this device to control my own home. But, until that time, the future is here now.

3 stars cos i got this free. have to get your grammar straight, otherwise it won't do what you ask. very picky on the music player, has to be google player. if you want spotify, has to specify EVERY SINGLE TIME

We are enjoying this in our home but wish that it was Bluetooth enabled. We knew this when we bought it and don't regret the purchase, just thing Google should work on that.

Starting to connect our Home Google with our tv’s and audio in our home , so far it’s been great getting it all together . Our kids are having Fun doing it

I got mine with a phillips hue bundle that came with 4 bulbs and a transmitter for around $200. If you see that deal again I would definitely recommend it.

Excellent voice recognition and nice to have in a living room. But there are very less applications and ecosystem is still evolving but basic present infra is strong.

Lots of fun and functionality. It has become my main alarm clock in my bedroom. I also have it controlling my Philips Hue lights which is awesome. No issues with it.

I love this product! The voice recognition and integration with google services is excellent and I use it all the time for daily tasks like weather, reminders etc.

Did not expect a speaker so small could have such power! Really surprised! And add Google assistant to the mix, and there is no mistake in purchasing this.

brought this for my mother in law for xmas. She loves it and it is easy to use for the simple things without having to look online to find out the same information.

I have 2 google homes and 2 echo dots the home is just a little bit better you dont have to word things just right like you do on the echo to get skills to work

I you need someone else to speak with in the house , this is fun to use. Get news and weather updates, plays music and is the first step in an eventual smart house

Love it, we have Alexa at well. Fun trivia game, awesome soound, vast library. Just waiting to be able to stream from devices as a bluetooth speaker. to bump to 5 stars.

This little assistant has made everyday challenges of finding music, setting timers and alarms so much more enjoyable. Very very easy to setup, literally plug and play.
