You have to spend money buying all the other devices if you actually want to use this to its potential. Paying for premium music services not required, but makes this actually usefull if you wanna listen to the actual music you want. That's not a fault of the Google home but rather Spotify and alike.

Good start but needs to mature

Using TuneIn, it can play any station. Using Google Play Music we can stream any music (it does work with other services). The best feature they could add would be voice recognition of the person. That way we could each have our own play lists, schedules, and such. Then, I think we would get more to put around the house. For now, it works as a kitchen radio.
