Controlling my smart products with voice control works really well and the mic can pick up my commands at a good range. My only complaint at this point is that you have to pay the subscription service to be able to play your personal music from google play. The work around is to cast it from your computer or phone to the google home.

Love our Google Home!

Are even adding the smart lights to the house, love being able to turn on/off lights in other rooms. So far we've found no down side, no it doesn't have as many relationships with other companies like Alexia, but we see that not being a issue for long.
