Works well, some improvements would be nice
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought both this and the Echo Dot from Amazon, Google home is great for running my Chromecast enabled TV and is better at answering questions. The Echo Dot seems to be just a little better at controlling my smart home switches and scenes as of late. I just wish they made a cheaper Google Home device, it would also be nicer if it could connect to a bluetooth speaker (without using Chromecast).

Better than Alexa
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought Google Home for my girlfriend and my sister bought Alexa fo herself, we compared the two and Google home works better, has better answers and doesn't glitch like Alexa does while listening to music. The only real downfall is you cant play the music of your smart phone unless you download it to your google account.

Works well, speakers have a nice sound

Controlling my smart products with voice control works really well and the mic can pick up my commands at a good range. My only complaint at this point is that you have to pay the subscription service to be able to play your personal music from google play. The work around is to cast it from your computer or phone to the google home.

Love our Google Home!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We got it as a let's see how this works kind of thing, but once we saw how many items we already had it could pair with, well it's great. Are even adding the smart lights to the house, love being able to turn on/off lights in other rooms. So far we've found no down side, no it doesn't have as many relationships with other companies like Alexia, but we see that not being a issue for long.
