Google home is great for information. You can ask it the weather anywhere in the world. We didn't opt for the offers, just wanted to see what it would do for free. It's not great at connecting to radio stations. But will play google music radio stations the you can select. All in all quite fun.

Well Some good...some not so good....

It's limited to certain lighting systems and my Z-Wave (Case Verde) was not one of them. So back to Alexa/Echo and my Harmony compatibility... It was cool and the audio was rich.. I kinda miss it as the Alexa sound is almost as good...but....

A little slow

But as soon as I started talking to it, I could tell that google was a little slow with interactions such as Hue lights. I had the home for a couple weeks but ended up switching to a Amazon Alexa

Fun toy but not something you 'need'
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We have our Google Home on the kitchen counter and we use it primarily for three things: setting timers/alarms, asking for the weather and streaming radio/podcasts. The first few days you will try asking it a lot of questions but after a while the novelty wears off. Probably the most interesting feature we use is the integration with nest thermostat and WeMo outlets.
