Good product

We already have Amazon Echo and Echo dots in home so really didn't need this product -having said that we did give this a try and it works very similar to the Echo. I already have subscriptions with Amazon in place and imagine if you do the same with Google you will get all same added features.

Home is way smarter than Alexa when you ask it a question. But Alexa is better for home control right now. I use Alexa to control my home security and ecobee thermostat. Don't have support on Home yet. But if I have a question to ask, I always ask Home.

Smart but overpriced

This should cost half of what it costs now. Price apart, the smart lights are super cool and I have had fun controlling my lights through phone app and Siri. Can't wait to hook up google home next week and control it in a more natural way instead of requiring a phone.

Great product, limited uses right now

However, It is lacking in some of the home automation categories. I believe they are coming, but as of right now is it like an 75% complete product. It's search capability is far better than the amazon echo and it can remember what your previous question was (in order to use shorter sequential questions).

What make it different form amazon echo is that you can have a conversation with it. Although echo has way more third party apps with it. Google home come be connected to Samsung smartthings hub. This allows me to connect and talk to my Lifx bulbs, nest thermostat, and arlo security cameras. Smart home at its best...
