I like the product. The sound is very clear and I love the range. My only issue is I cannot access any of my downloaded music. What good is a speaker if I cannot play the music I want to play?

Excellent piece of hardware, intelligent software! My biggest qualms are the lack of connectable devices for smart home control and the price and reliance on Youtube red for music. I currently have to control many of my devices via IFTTT, and while cool, it's a bit slow and sometimes tedious to create.

You have to ask alexa a brand new question each time whereas google understands conversations. for example, "who is lebron james" can be followed with "how is his team doing". Alexa would not know that the second question relates to the first.

We are an android home and this product works great. Love that it connects with our chromecast. Also works great for my daughter asking how to spell words.... Only downfalls as of this point is that sometimes you have to repeat the same phrase multiple times to get the result you want.

the device struggles to pick up your voice more than a few feet away. I use it in a quiet environment, I also have Amazon Alexa and it seems to pick up your voice much better. However, Google home is easier to converse with in simple language.

The Google Home is a speaker that right now has fairly limited functionality (you can ask it weather, traffic and trivia related questions) but hopefully they'll continue to improve it in the future so it can do things like act like a speakerphone for your iphone, send emails with voice commands etc

Not as good as Amazon Alexa Butbit has potential. I used it less that Alexa for home automation but I like that you can connect it to Comcast and it will allow you to use YouTube using your voice command. Still needs some more 3rd party support

We LOVE our Google Home. We can listen to music, link it to our calendar and ask Google our schedules for the day, ask random questions, check the weather and best of all we can tell Google what to add to our grocery list and it shows up on our phones. Best invention ever!

I haven't used it too much yet, but I listen to the news while I fix breakfast and while I fix dinner each day. If a question comes to mind I ask Google and so far I have gotten what I suspect is the correct answer. I also listen to music when I am reading or working near the google home. Great timer.

Love my Google Home. This is the second one that I have purchased. It controls my chrome cast and my Wemo switches and plugs. The best thing about it is how smart it is. Home answers all of our families questions quickly. No need to go online to search for the answer. Highly recommend.

Google Home is fun, but it needs work. Considering it's only been out for a month or two, I have a lot of hope for it. It's very conversational and can answer a lot of questions but things like playing music from my Play account should be a day one feature. I'm lookin forward to seeing where it goes!

I purchased it expecting compete integration between phone and device. However there are some limitations . It doesn't work quite as well as I would hope. It is pretty convenient. It has bit to go before it catches up to Echo, but if you are part of the Google ecosystem, it may be a good fit for you.

Still learning the Google Home but like how it performs so far. Wish we could give it a name rather than Google. Wish we didn't have to say "hey Google". Why can't we just say "Google"? Need to look for a good site to coach us on all the features to take advantage of.

I am in love with this device. My husband hurt me and my nieces and family members talking to it. And immediately asked if it was here I said yes. So now I have to order one for myself my brother for Christmas and for my 10 and 7 year old grandsons. Conclusion to my summary I'm in love.

I have Google Homes and Google Home Minis, and these regular size ones definitely produce a much higher quality sound, well worth the price difference if you want to listen to music around your home.

I'm comparing this with my former Amazon echo. Things I do like are Google's search engine a lot better than Amazon's. Things I do not like are Google's microphone response which is very weak. Sometimes you have to yell over the music really loud to get it to hear you. A lot of times and never hears you and you have to repeat yourself over and over. The speakers sound quality, which I have tested many Bluetooth speakers, is average or weak. I would not buy several of these speakers and put them around the house and expect good quality sound. I will give it a few more days and then return it if things are not improved and get the Amazon echo.for my Bose system.

We purchased the Google Wifi 3-pack for comprehensive coverage in our home. It is the best Wifi we have ever experienced. We use live streaming to watch tv and the pictures instantly cleared up to HD quality when we switched to Google Wifi. I would highly recommend it!

We have echos throughout the house, but utility is limited to weather and alarms. Any complicated question stumps her. The Google home is much more robust in answering questions, but is a bit more baffled by loud background noise. The speakers are about on par between the units.

You need this!!! :). I bought it and use it continuously. It is like having someone standing by your side helping you with so many things that consume your day. Best purchase I've ever made at Best Buy. Seriously, I highly recommend you pick one up right away. They're awesome!
