Bought this for my dad to play around with, he uses it for music, news, weather and controlling smart lights. Note you cannot output sound to other devices and must play music on its own speaker

This is great device but also has some draw backs with being new to market. I wish this linked up to more things but know this is coming. The YouTube red account is definitely worth the subscription to avoid commercials.

The Google home can answer all your questions, but has limited integration with other smart devices currently. It's a beautiful and functional gadget, but the ecosystem is not as robust as the Amazon Echo's at this time.

The device it self works great with the few features it has now, but I know that the future will bring more specially with the open firmware systems Google usually has.

I went to my local amazon Alexa skills group and was impressed by the product, but from a market perspective I longed for tech from a company I could feel good about so I went out to get this. So on plus side I'm not feeding Bezos and I like the integrated interface and the ability to create a community of hardware and applications from iot to TV and speakers that I could link. On the down side Alexa is way ahead of the curve and has done better at engaging users, I'm hopeful Google will catch up, my biggest letdown with both is that I can't play my music from my play account with voice commands alone.

This has to be the coolest purchase of the year! Besides being able to connect to whatever smart home products you may have, the games like Hitchhiker's Guide Quiz and Song Pop are so stinking cool!!

Google Home is very polite and tells me good morning. Still working out how to address her to get the results I want. Still will not play my spotify subscription all of the time, but guessing it is user error.

Bought this as gift for my mom and she LOVES her Google home! It was very easy to setup and she figured out how to use it pretty quickly and loves to let me know when figures out something new to use it for.

The google home device is interesting. the speakers aren't great, but it can do so much. especially if you have smart lights etc. need more time to really get the most out of it though. really cool so far

I love google, but this product isn't ready for primetime yet. It's good at doing voice-command web searches for you, and at setting timers. But it can't be used as a BlueTooth speaker, and you can't play music off your phone. It can't even modify your Google calendar (yet)! And if you're looking to control your lights or thermostat, well, there are very few integrations available and those options are quite expensive. These issues will get better over time, but it's only 3 stars until then.

Google Home isna fantastic product. Not only does the Google search engine work excellently to answer any questions, the connections you can make with this device as well as the response time is unmatched.

I got this for my brother and he really enjoys having it. He connected the TV and light to this. “Hey google turn on bedroom TV”. He doesn’t even look for the TV remote control anymore!

Love my google home. Actually own 3 of them which can tie into my free google music account and allow me to stream music throughout my house, to all speakers. Basically a sonos system for a much cheaper price

Classic Google accuracy, responds quickly with correct response. Really like using "Hey Google" on phone or tablet. Downside is only one person can use it for their schedule and calendar, but otherwise great.

This is the best smart speaker ever! I can turn on lights & my TV. I can stream music. The only reason I only gave it 4 stars is because I don't have the ability to cast Hulu on to my Chromecast.

I love this item so much, that I use it everyday for everything from the alarm, to the weather report, to trivia to games. It is such a hit in my house that I made it my gift for my best man at my wedding.

I actually bought this for my boyfriend as a Christmas gift but we broke up (before the holiday) so I kept it for myself. I now have two in the house and I'm going to purchase one for my office. I love ❤️ it

google home is a great home assistant that is always on stand by but is still currently lacking in some basic functions. I love it personally and cannot wait to see it evolve and incorporate its own native google apps.

Im sure that in time, there will be more applications for this device, but it is still nice to have now. I wish the smart products that it controls were cheaper too. I found a lot of applets at ifttt.com helpful.

We originally bought a different, similar device by a different name. It would not connect/work even after exchanging for a second one. We decided to get this one and WE ALL LOVE IT!!!!
