I needed it to sleep while we didn't have ac and if it wasnt within 4 feet of me i couldnt feel any air at all i bought a 10 dollar clip on fan from walmart that has more power. As long as you were within the 4 ft range tho it was pretty decent just dont count on it helping a whole room.
