Stick felt like cheap plastic. After opening the Hori program on my PC, pulled the Hotas ,out of the box and hooked up. I went to do a firmware update and all I got was the screenshot I included. I immediately returned them. Not a game a I want to play.

It would be nice for $250 if it actually worked but the movement is extremely jumpy. If you pull it up on the Hori app or Windows joystick settings and watch the movement its horrendous. Also did not fit in the mount the bracket required some bending. Throttle is also very rough. All in all its very disappointing.

The lower the price, the better it gets.

The Throtle: Not bad, hall effect sensor in the throttle itself but felt a little grainy when using at first. Smoother now. The middle detente is easy to miss. The friction knob works but seems mostly for show. The Flight stick: Hall effect sensors mean no dead spot and the buttons feel good. the PoV hat feels a little fragile but no issues with that. Mine has started to have issues shortly after the return period ended. No matter what USB port it will randomly reset the connection and have to be physically re-plugged. Desk Mounts: allows the mounting of the HOTAS into a nice position instead of resting on the desktop. Software: The Hori software has two variants. One for all of their fight sticks and controllers, and one JUST for this HOTAS. Only the HOTAS version will detect the stick and throttle. To update the firmware it has to be plugged directly into the motherboard. Overall this feels like a one off product that will not have long term support nor aftermarket support. I definitely feel buyers remorse for the price I paid (340ish on clearance). Currently dealing with Hori support about a fix for the flight stick.

It's a cheap build with cheap plastic the throttle is cheap and doesn't slide smoothly and even when you tighten or loosen the friction on it. It fails to feel like a quality build. You can get something of the same build quality for half the price. When key mapping most of the time you will get dual inputs and have to map and remap till you can get a clear input value.
