I loved this movie from childhood. I have a copy of it from the Christopher Lee three pack but the quality isn’t the best. This new restored version looks so much better. Plus, it comes with some nice featurettes.

Is it Horror? Is it Science Fiction? Spanish director Eugenio Martin's Horror Express decides to be both! With horror icons Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee, along with Telly Savalas as a Russian Cossack policeman!

If you're a fan of this film you'll truly enjoy the Stellar job that Arrow video did as far as picture and sound. Terrific job by them all around

Horror Express is a creature feature, a heady sci-fi flick, a whodunit, a slasher, and a period piece set on the Trans-Siberian Express in 1906 Russia. It's what you find when you backtrack The Lady Vanishes and The Thing far enough. Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing are charming and delightful to watch together, for once paired as allies rather than adversaries. The visual effects have aged reasonably well, at least to the eye of a Gen X'er who accepted practical effects before everything had to be digital. Younger viewers may be less receptive. As for Arrow's Blu-ray, it's terrific! The picture is pristine, outright gorgeous. I'd first seen this on a horrible public domain DVD and had no idea it was supposed to be this lush. I was frequently mesmerized by Christopher Lee's hounds-tooth suit. The supplemental interviews all expound on different principles and elements of the film's production, release, and legacy, and are on par with the vaunted Criterion treatment.

Although there is no digital code this was a great find for classic campy film lovers. I believe this film is the basis of an episode of the new Creepshow series (I maybe wrong).

THis is one of the best releases I have seen lately. It is like Agatha Christie meets the Omen. Buy it.

great movie with Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee and a creepy apelike monster, too many speckles on the print and definitely deserves a better restoration special features were good, i did not expect so many for this film
