This thing is one of the best purchases I have made of any kind in a long time. It is fast, very responsive and lasts a long time. The recharging motor brake (don't remember what is really called) is one of the best parts, making it last even longer on one charge. I recomend this for the value you get out of it. I want to buy a few, one for everyone in my family. I will say the I jad a hard time putting the handles on and sort of cross threaded it. I was able to get it to stay thabks to 2 part apoxy. Just take care putting the left had grip on iss I am saying bnk

For the first three weeks my daughter had a blast on this scooter. There was a problem with the front hub locking to the left. We’re going to give it another shot so I took it back today to get another one. And there was a whole Nother issue with Best Buy but I won’t get into that. If the second one doesn’t last longer than three weeks I’ll never buy this brand again!

My son and I were impressed with the quality and how heavy duty this scooter was. It was fast and sturdy. But after only 5 days, the steering locked up completely, which could have been dangerous and cause my son to fly off...but good thing he didn't. We were very disappointed to have to return it. Hopefully the new one that comes doesn't have the same issue.

Overall - pretty basic but still excellent value. Works well. The battery holds the charge. The kickstand could be more robust - it got broken after a short while.

Great scooter, I purchased 2 of these and we have loved them so much, that I just ordered the new Hover-1 Alpha-Pro model, so we can go a little faster and longer distance. This is definitely an entry level model, but was great to try and will keep for guest coming over to our downtown apartment. You will feel a lot of bumps and if proper shoes aren’t worn, it can make feet tired from the bumpiness depending on your road and sidewalk conditions, but well worth the money for short rides and entry level.

The scooter has been good quality and strong enough to transport an adult (130 lbs) at a decent speed. However, the thumb lever for the power has started sticking so we are going to need to get it fixed. Hopefully the warranty is still good.

I am blown away with the build quality on this scooter. I was able to get the Black Friday price so I feel like we got a great value. Also live how there are three speed settings, 7mph 11mph and 16mph. That way when the kids are riding we can set it to the lower setting but when I want to enjoy the scooter I can can go all the way up to 16mph. Also has a weight rating of 264lbs!

Quick scooter. Big enough for an adult, a little too tall for an 8 year old. So far, so good! It’s faster than the lesser expensive models.

I got this for my whole family as a Christmas gift. I’ve had HOVER-1 brand hoverboards before and they’ve been some of the best ones I’ve ever used. So I felt confident buying this. And I’m glad I did. It does a great job getting even adults around. My wife likes to take it around with our younger daughter. The battery life is fantastic. The learning curve is much easier than a hover board. Super fun, pretty safe, and easy to master.

I would not recommend. My handle bars are always coming loose. Had to end up glueing them because every little bump would knock them loose. The wheels are plastic so it’s extremely loud. Can’t ride at night because it makes too much noise. Also, kills my feet. Would be okay if your road is smooth but where I ride there’s bumps which make the ride very uncomfortable. The battery does last a while. If I were to purchase again I would spend more money and get the hover 1 alpha. My boyfriend got that scooter but I was too cheap and now I regret it. His scooter is faster, super smooth, has a headlight and brake lights. Definitely worth the extra money. If I could have returned mine I would’ve.

I use the heck outta this scooter, mostly to scoot the neighborhood & slightly abroad, being that I don't have a vehicle at this time. I haven't tested the distance range yet, I have taken it a couple miles away & back, watching the battery level, giving a safety cushion of about 2 out of 5 bars. I know the juice drains typically twice as fast after the 1/2 way point on the batt meter. There's no headlight (or tail light) helping with the drainage of power so it's all on the drive. It comes stock with AIR-LESS tires which is what I was going for, because I kept getting front tire flats on my other E-scooters from going shopping & traveling with 4,5,6,7 bags of groceries on the handlebars, adding who knows how much (100+lbs.) to the Max capacity & popping tires. These tires right here, DO NOT ABSORB ANY SHOCK, so you feel every little crevice in the terrain you traverse, BUT!, I HAVE SHOPPED WITH 8 or 9 bags up front (crazy!) & a 32pk of bottled water or once 3 - 12pks of soda bungee'd to the deck & Everytime got home safe & sound with all my groceries in tact. For me, this model, for the sale price, has been WELL worth it's purchase. If your scenario is similar to this, pending on the availability of this particular model, I DO RECOMMEND SCOOPING THIS 1 UP, YOU'LL BE GLAD YOU DID, I'M SURE OF IT!

I got this for school and i was happy because i got more time for my day. It was fun and easy to carry around. I am not a strong person but I carried it up and down my dorm building. I got it in January and it stopped charging in March. I could just take it to get fixed but I did take care of it and it made me sad that just stopped working. It’s not super fast but it’s faster then my legs. Up hills it’s just doesn’t go so I have to walk it

    Decent Scooter So Far

So far this scooter works well, but our first Hover 1s we bought last year did great until all 4 died just before one year. Its a little fast for our 10 year old, but the 13 year old is perfect for it and its fine for adults also. We always buy the protection plan, so I just recommend buying that, as best buy's plan is great and they always replace items with issues without a problem.

It rides smooth on a even ground going up hill slows down a lot but I didn’t expect it to have full power for that price the main reason I only gave it 4 and was thinking of giving it a 3 it it’s not the safest a Little Rock made the scooter stop and threw me off the wheels need work I got hurt pretty bad going at that speed and flying off for just a rock so any little thing can cause it to crash but if your on a clean road you should be fine

LOVE this scooter! Super fun, fast and goes uphill with no problems. Couple down side's.. I live in a major city where the street are not all nicely paved, i literally feel every bump, pot hole, nook and cranny. The battery does a fairly good job but the longer you use the scooter you can feel it slowing down. Overall for the price I'm really happy with it.
