Mine was lightly used for 10 months and broke down with E6 error. They don't even say a word to try to tell me how to fix it. This review has nothing to do with best buy since the worst experience was because of the Hover-1 official site.

Followed instructions exactly as they stated.... as soon as he got down the block it shut off and wouldn't turn back on... No help from customer service... and best buy couldn't exchange it as they no longer have it available...and no longer sell them.

I went back a week later to exchange it because it was working right. Then the 2nd scooter doesn’t power on after it was sitting for two week. I return the scooter but they give me store credit because my receipt say exchange. If I pay cash , I should get cash back when I return it not store credit

It's not going to blow you away compared commercial scooters and more expensive options. However, it can be enjoyed if you don't set extremely high expectations. For starters, the target audience seems to be kids or smaller individuals (away from weight capacity). My wife had a more enjoyable experience than I did, but nevertheless it was still fun. It offers decent speed, but getting close to the max speed varies on a number of factors. The tires did seem sturdy as I tried different terrains. Also, the folding mechanism is very convenient. Braking and accelerating worked well after you get used to it, but I do wish this scooter was a bit more powerful. Regardless, there's some fun than can be had with this scooter.
