I bought this to protect the expensive camera lens glass form dust and the elements and it has served very well so far. Easy to install, it protects the lens nicely and doesn't interfere with the quality of the pictures.

I use these as lens protectors because I do a lot of adventure travel with my Nikon DSLR --and have been known to fall on hiking trails! I fell down a flight of monastery steps last year with my $1700 lens with this on, and believe it added extra protection. No issues with fit or with condensation under the lens filter.

I bought the Nikon 70-200 with a hefty price tag, and wanted to make sure my lens was protected. I bought the HOYA NXT and it has worked well. Keeps the lens clean, clear, and scratch-free. Especially important to me was even in the rain, I did't have a problem.

This is a great performing lens filter that not only protects your expensive lens but also keeps the picture clarity true and does not get in the way of a great shot. It's multi coated glass is pretty resistant to hard knocks and scrubs.

This item was more so for protection, it didn't do anything extraordinary in terms of color in my images, they look the same with or without the filter. It was helpful with smudge/dust protection. That being said obvi the CP filters helped better with color in bright situations and for just smudge protection a cheaper filter could be used.

This is my second time purchasing this! It saved the glass on my actual lens from getting damaged from a flying pebble that hit me! Good thing I had this on my lens!

This filter fit very cleanly to my Nikon lens and seems to be doing a great job. I would absolutely purchase another; hopefully this one will last as long as my lens!
