Our 7 year old needed his own laptop for online schooling and this was a great gaming Laptop for the sale price. He loves it and especially that the keys light up in green because he loves Godzilla! It has great performance and what you would expect from HP.

I play Rust and other multiplayer games. This computer is able to run them effectively. However, the game crashes occasionally, and I feel that this may be do to the 8 gb ram. Games like Rust perform best on 16gb ram. However, if you tweak your settings (lower RAM intensive settings), the crashing tends to stop. I will look into this issue more, because it may also be software related. Aside from that, this laptop runs games very well, and is not overly noisy.

I bought this yesterday and I am loving it. I like the color green illumination that can be adjusted Off to semi bright to full brightness. The keys are easy and the screen monitor size is just right for me. The sound is amazing with a B&O superb sound. I am giving it a five stars because I already returned two laptops in a span of a few days because one the fan is noisy and the other one the keyboard are hard to see if you have a poor eyesight.

Bought this to upgrade from a non-gaming computer. So far it has been awesome for all the games I play. Graphics live up to the write-up. The only issue is battery life. But a good buy and a recommended purchase.

I bought this laptop last year as a replacement for my 4-year old Lenovo laptop during Best Buy's Black Friday sale, and for around $450 for its specs, I think it's a pretty solid laptop to run some games and perform necessary office work. To get an idea of the games it can run, I used to play Fallout, Skyrim, and Assassin's Creed on this without too many issues. I had also used this laptop for work from home when the pandemic started and I was able to perform my work relatively pretty well during the first few months. However, due to the CADD work I heavily do, I don't think this laptop is very ideal when running programs for drafting. Other than that, if you're looking for a decent laptop that can get you through school/distance learning/etc, then this is the laptop for you.

Works great, wish it had more battery life and wish I'd gotten something with more storage and ram, but for a budget gaming computer, it does play ARK Survival fine, but it barely fits on this computer..

Upgraded from an old sony vaio f series laptop. One of the best laptop I've owned. Nice keyboard and fast. Owned asus before and they never last. Sticking with HP. Have a all in one HP desktop and it lasted for like 5 years now..Buy it now!

Got this while in sale and I think it’s well worth it. It’s an early x-mas gift for my wife so she can play a couple games. Ran a few of them and they can all run easily at 60fps on mid settings. Slick and clean look.

I love this computer it has now become my primary work computer but easy to use and decent size screen. Great for gaming as well. I’ve played world of Warcraft with no issues. Great purchase and great price.

This laptop is everything that my daughter was looking for. The speed is incredible for both her gaming and school work. Graphics are stellar and the sound is great for a laptop.

This unit is fast, super light and does not set your leg on fire! It’s graphics are superb! We do graphic design and video editing on this unit! The screen is bright and clear! This was a great purchase!

3 kids use it for online games, mostly Roblox, some Steam. The lit keyboard is helpful! The games are much faster, less laggy on this compared with a different (not gaming) computer less than a year old).

got this as a open box buy, so we did not pay full price for it plus a discount on the open boxes. it is in excellent condition and my son is loving gaming on this laptop. it is very fast and easy to use

Speed is much better than my previous laptop. I like the lighted keyboard. I also had great support in using the new laptop with the geek squad. The screen is the right size for a senior citizen.

purchased this for my daughter so she can play Roblox and other games without what she calls "glitching" She loves it, the light up keyboard is especially nice feature, speeds are great!

Backlit keyboard comes in handy during late night gaming in the dark. Only drawback is having to leave it plugged in if I want my games to run smoothly at high FPS

Pretty decent budget laptop. Can't complaint too much. Runs the games I want well. Easy to expand the RAM and harddrive (which is what I did).

So I have had Alienware,asus,dell but this takes the cake It’s fast and powerful if I could I would put 10 Stars I strongly recommend it

Doubled the ram and added a 2nd hard drive. Can play most games I have with ease. Works like a champ. Battery life is ugh not the greatest.

I had to replace my 6-year-old HP Pavilion laptop after an external catastrophic event (my dog knocked over a soft drink into the keyboard and it bricked). On a limited budget, and having been pleased with my old HP, I opted for this one. I have been quite pleased with its performance to this point (I have had it for about a month). I know that there are fancier, pricier laptops out there, but the graphics are a massive upgrade from what I am used to seeing. I use this laptop for recreational gaming (Overwatch, WoW, etc.), podcast editing, and general use. It serves my purposes quite well, and I would recommend it.
