Faster speed. Enough memory and SSD space. Backlid keyboard. Only drawback is little heavier. can't keep for long on my lap. Overall satisfied.

I like the laptop because it is able to perform in terms of gaming and other things like internet/social media/adobe premiere pro pretty well. Since it was an “open box” originally, I do have questions of things like better life going down really quickly (within a couple hours depending on what I’m doing). Also it’s bulky size is another thing to get used to if you wanted to have it for comfort (lounging) or carrying it around. Otherwise, this is a pretty good laptop that I recommend if you are fine with basic gaming experiences!

Needed a gaming computer for our grandson to do his virtual 3-D and design projects for school. Because of Covid-19 school was working remotely and hus antiquated desktop was inadequate. We went online to Best Buy and were able to chat online and to get suggestions and make decision as to what would be most an appropriate - and cost effective investment. The online sales agent walked us through the decision making and processed our order for shipment. Computer arrived 3 days later. Needless to say, Grandson is quite pleased - and was able to earn an A in the 3-D Modeling class.

This laptop can run a lot of games. Especially modern games surprisingly for what it is. Good price for people starting out with low budget PC gaming!

It was as I expected.... Nice, slim, sleek and runs great for videos and games. I like the color green that is on the keep pad. Over all its really nice.

I used to build my own desktop computers, this is my first 'Store Bought' computer, also my first 'Laptop'. I do have to say that I am impressed! It's not to small, not to big. After Maximizing the RAM, ( Thank you newegg.com) this little babe runs fast! A little pricy, at $850.00 or so, (I did buy a wireless mouse as well, heck, 50% off at the time, why not!). But well worth the price! Now if I could just get it back from my friend,(she went for a $300.00 laptop, which goes back hopefully soon) I'll get to spend sometime with it and give a proper review.

Got this for my 12 year old son who loves gaming. Our desktop is certainly inferior to this. The green lights on the keyboard is neat looking as well.

The laptop has amazing specs on it already with the AMD Ryzen 5 cpu and the NVIDIA GeForce GTX graphics card. The screen looks amazing and the screen is pretty big. The keyboard and touchpad respond and look amazing with the backlit keyboard. It’s great for games like League of Legends, Minecraft, GTA V, CSGO and Valorant. I highly recommend this laptop to anyone searching for a cheap and efficient laptop for gaming and work.

It is not a PC but it does good for gaming. We have now upgraded it to 32gb of memory. It worked with 8 but 32 is just a bit smoother.

I needed to replace my 7 year old laptop. My brother bought this same model during Black Friday last year for $450. I bought mine for $600, which is still a very good price for a gaming laptop. This can run most games fine as is, but you'll want to install an additional hard drive or expand the M.2 drive, and at least double the ram if you plan on gaming on high specs. Because of the pandemic, I've been using this laptop to work from home. It's very good work computer as well, as I spend most of my days on video calls.

Great gaming laptop for its price, currently play WOW with no problems. Computer is pretty up to speed and runs smoothly so far.

got this for my wife we got one at the same time, i got this as a black friday sale, and it over powers my rx560x -youtube was wrong on this gtx 1050 it doesn't run side by side with the rx560x it over powers it by 20-40 fps when we seen it in action she was very excited and i was very jealous my jaw dropped and then i wished i had just gotten 2 of these instead of 2 different laptops.

I finally have my own laptop. I was always a desktop man myself. I never liked how laptops seemed slower than desktops. Well this unit has an SSD hard-drive and there is no lag at all. The processor is fast and I have had no slow performance issues at all. It renders video crisp and clear and to any resolution I want. If there is any issue at all its the display color seems a little muted. But I dont care I use this as a home theater PC so its throwing video to a big screen anyways. And when I want to go mobile its a champ.

Got mine at 449.99. Being used for general purposes and not gaming yet. My impression is that the cpu, SSD, and discrete graphics make for sub second response times in many cases. Have ordered another 8Gb of memory to enable dual channel access. HP's Service and Maintenance Guide, HP Pavilion Gaming 15 Laptop PC offers some specs and service details, like opening the unit and memory access, etc. The screen is fine imo.

I got this for my 15 yo son to use with light online gaming and schoolwork. I shopped pretty hard and found this to be the best value for money in terms of what they pack in for screen size, CPU, Memory, GPU and SSD. For someone who isn't into heavy graphics gaming it's been perfect for him, trouble free, and substantially faster than the i3 he had previously. The build quality seems great, it feels solid, and the keyboard/lid mechanics also have a good feel. No complaints here for the money.
