The laptop is what we were looking for, something simple for lighter work and streaming when away from home. Battery life so-so, though not unexpected for less expensive model. DVD player software also so-so.

Bought this for my son to play his games on and it works very well, my only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that I've still yet to figure out how to run Google chrome on it, it won't let me download it... super frustrating! But still works for what I need it for :)

I didn't expect much from this laptop for the price. If you're looking for a computer to run a couple simple applications or to access the web (it's not going to be very fast) and you're a very patient person, then this laptop is for you.

It wasn’t a real expensive computerIt wasn’t a real expensive computer so I wasn’t expecting a whole bunch but for what it is it works perfectly. It was mainly going to be used in the light home use and for online surfing and emails. For that, it’s a beauty !

I was looking for an inexpensive laptop to travel with. Our old one was on its last legs after some 10 years of use. This HP fit the bill with just the right amount of goodies to use for someone who is not very tech savvy. Good price and easy to use.

Great screen size for watching Amazon prime or Netflix. The 4GB of ram that it comes with could probably use an upgrade to 8GB to fix any lag when you have multiple tabs open when web browsing.

I have always bought HP desktops, laptops and printers. This was the first laptop I was disappointed with. It was pre-loaded with Windows 10 in S mode. It was exceedingly slow and I could not add any apps that weren't from the Microsoft store. It took some research to discover that the S mode was slowing it down, so I took it out of S mode so that I could download Chrome, Firefox and my Google Play apps. It helped somewhat, but is still slow. I'm taking it into Geek Squad tomorrow in the hope that they'll be able to get it running faster and smoother.

I bought this laptop to replace my old HP which was 10 years old and constantly freezing up. This laptop was easy to get set up. I use my laptop for basic personal use - paying bills, online shopping, research. It is a perfect fit for me. It's smaller and more lightweight than my old HP. I feel the speed is quite fast. Downside is it did not come with Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) which I use frequently.

Don’t buy it, very slow, goes out to lunch while trying to get to web site (internet download speed on my other ‘is 880 MB/Sec. Even with Max Ram and removal of Bloatware, still will not get out of its own way. Got it to be disposable and if stollen, No issues. Leave in hotel room with extremely hard password on it, not afraid to be stollen... using this requires almost Dailey reboots... good Quality though and was inexpensive and disposable if need be in general. Don’t expect much, because you won’t be getting much.

Definitely like the computer, and the fact that this one actually has a DVD drive built in. If you do not know much about computers, Windows 10 might be useful. My wife had to do some working around to get things done on the computer.

If you're here for a cheap but powerful computer, I recommend going up a price point. But while this computer can be weak and slow at times, for the price point, it does a very decent job. After all, you get what you paid for.

Quality and performance is okay keeping in mind what you are paying for, with some software changes and some research you can make this laptop perform better, I’m happy with my purchase because it works for what i need.
