I was looking for a new laptop to work from home at the beginning of the Covid Pandemic, as the one I had was old and didnt support the software to telecommute. This came up as the Deal of the Day and I am NOT disappointed! It has been the best money I've spent in a long time. It runs quickly and quietly! The number pad was a must to effectively work from home, and the touch screen was an added bonus! I have had production equal to what to my in office production! I went back and forth between this one and a DELL (this one was slightly more expensive) and ended up going with this one, and I'm so glad I did!

Computer is fast and amazing for gaming, music, and work! The touch screen is an added bonus. Only problem I have received is from windows 10 itself, not the computer. It got stuck in S mode the first week so I did a factory reset and have had no further problems with S mode or windows 10. Besides that it works very smoothly and is definitely worth the money.

For $599, this laptop is great! Very fast and reliable for everyday use. The specs are amazing as well considering the price of this laptop is cheap. Not a fan of windows 10 but that’s the default windows now (prefer windows 7 but it is no longer available and I’m old school). When purchasing this laptop, just know it is set on S mode. In order to get out of it, just google it up and you should be fine. Once you’re out of it there’s no going back.

I have no complaints about this laptop. I was looking for a medium level laptop that could handle virtual classroom software that I use for work, while simultaneously using search engines and other programs. This laptops has exceeded my expectations. I also like that it is light weight and it starts up extremely quickly. I am not a gamer. I only use it for work and so far it has been perfect for all my needs.

A great laptop at this price (I paid 450 when it was on sale on 5/1, it's on clearance for 530 today which is still good.) Happy with the touchscreen - Note that the resolution is 1366x768 not 1080p. The CPU and SSD are responsive. Quick to boot up. I took mine out of S mode as soon as I got it. You will not see the full 12GB because 2GB get used for graphics, but it's still more than enough.

Aside from the battery, this computer is great and I have zero complaints! I bought it for gaming and even with constant use it probably only lasts 3 hours. But upon receiving it, I was setting it up and before I started gaming the battery went from 100% to 94% in a matter of minutes. This was after it was fully charged post receiving.

    New HP laptop

After I fussed about the this purchase, researching various laptop computers within various price ranges for quite a while, I settled on this HP computer because the price was right for a decent size screen and 12GB of internal memory for a good price. Too cheap and refurbished laptops always had a number of bad reviews. Researching I knew I wanted 8 or more GB of internal memory. The size of the SSD hard drive was negotiable. 256 is smaller than I would have preferred, but adequate for my purposes since it will be used for a single purpose. The camera is a plus and Windows 10 Pro a must. I then purchased MS Office 2019 because I do not like having to pay Microsoft every year to use their SW. I own MS Office 2013, but Microsoft would not let me activate it on this new computer even though I was deleting it from the old laptop. I bought Office 2019 from a third party provide because I did not want to give Microsoft any more of my money. I especially do not like that Microsoft in Windows 10 tries to force you to use their products and does not allow defaults to other better products.

Bought this Laptop after looking at several deals for Memorial Day sales. Price couldn't be beat. Just needed a computer to surf internet, check emails, and get organized for home affairs. Bought a cooling pad to ensure laptop doesn't overheat... Ended up becoming a new League of Legends player due to this laptop as well :)

I had originally thought that this 15"screen was going to make the computer an issue carrying it from place to place, but its really quite light. I love the touchscreen and the size is nice to see everything very well. My daughter and I purchased the same computer to use for video editing. The computer performs better than expected. I trust HP products and this was another good choice.

I love my hp laptop. Have only had it for a few months, but overall, Love the screen(size, graphics), speed, space available, keyboard is very nice. 12 GB memory and 256GB SSD are fitting for most everything I need. Also Best Buy had it for $100.00 of the original price. Hopefully I will be partners with this device for a long time to come.(knock on wood). So far I would highly recommend.

In the past I have used desktops and iPads. This computer has touch capacity so if you are used to an iPad this is remarkably similar. It’s a beautiful laptop with terrific resolution and easy to navigate. Only complaint that it comes in s mode which is a pain because if you want to use apps other than Microsoft you have to leave s mode and then install your own virus protection.

Excellent piece of technology! My first ever laptop was an HP in 2005. I haven’t been disappointed since. I prefer a Mac or Dell. But I’ve never been steered wrong with HP. And the revolutionary touch screen feature is what cemented the hardware for my ease of use. Definitely a great starter computer; with the benefits of high performance output!

Enjoying my experience with this laptop. I purchased this device because for work I was using another HP - had a great experience, so decided to purchase one for my personal use. It has speed, great memory and my only complaint would be the camera quality could be better. Overall, I'm enjoying my new laptop.

I purchased this computer to replace my 10 year old laptop and it didn’t disappoint. Runs fast and I’m able to do most of my remote work with no problem. The touch screen is a cool bonus which I would recommend getting a screen cover for if you have OCD like me and don’t like fingerprints all over the screen. Has plenty of space to hold my files, pictures, and movies.

The keyboard is the best I have had in a Computer, whether Mac or PC in a long time. I love, love the keyboard. The computer is light and the computer looks great. I love the way the screen and fast response of the computer. I am very happy with this computer, I had to buy at last minute, since my last PC computer stopped working properly.

The screen quality isn’t great, but the color is nice and the speakers are surprisingly nice. I’m a college student, so i wouldn’t recommend this for its battery life, but with school being online for me it won’t be a big concern until the fall.

I have had my new HP laptop for one week now. There was a little bit of fan noise at first. I turn off a lot of the background apps that were running that I didn't need which helped with the fan noise. The keyboard is nice. This is solid laptop. I was just looking for a replacement for my old laptop and this fits the bill. Setup was easy.

The 12GB of memory and 512GB SSD is incredible because everything runs smoothly with no lag. I can use Adobe Creative Cloud and run programs with no problem. I have no issues with the fan being loud and it's barely noticeable and not disruptive. The touchscreen is cool but still adjusting to even remembering to use it that way. HOWEVER, the only thing that isn't amazing is the display/screen/graphics/pixels. It's so dull and the colors aren't at all vivid or crystal clear. I've tried calibrating but that isn't the issue. The screen quality, even for the price, should be better. This is disappointing because this laptop has everything I want. I bought it on sale for $499 so I'm super conflicted on whether I want to sacrifice speed for better display clarity.

As a grad student, I rely on my computer for speed and reliability. I am able to go from screen to screen and navigate so much easier than my older laptop. The keyboard is much easier for me to type with. Any settings I need to change are intuitive and easy for me--even though I consider myself computer challenged!.
