It's super fast, it has lots of ports, it looks and feels superb- very classy, and doesn't scream GAMER BRO visually. The keyboarding surface is a sort of textured metal. Doesn't flex. Runs games as well as any full package RTX 2060 and keeps itself cool without any silly pads, on a flat clean surface. The internal speakers are serviceable. Not very loud, but they're clear. IDK I'm not an audiophile. Took off one point in quality for the screen- this one isn't G-Sync, and it doesn't go past 60hz. The viewing angles are narrow and there's some wicked light bleed on black screens, but otherwise... it gets very bright and then the colors look quite good. Was disappointed in the screen but I'm just going to get an external monitor anyway, so the G-Sync tax would have been money wasted most of the time. GET IT

Low latency is important for real-time audio applications, and not all laptops are suitable for Producers/DJs/Live Electronic Performers... (not going to say any names, but their initials are DELL) Happy to report that the HP Omen 17 performs admirably, especially once standard audio optimization procedures are applied. So if you use Ableton Live, Traktor, Serato or any kind of Multi-track audio programs, you should be able to get excellent low latency with this beastie. Also, for VR, this laptop will handle anything on max settings as of Sept 2019, including Doom VFR. Overall, it has good build quality, the buttons are nice, my only critique would be that the power jack is a bit flimsy and I'm definitely concerned that it will break at some point. Otherwise its a great machine for the money!

Fast processor, use for ARCgis software, not for gaming...little bit in the heavy side, but well worth the price

It is a good acquisition and has been stable so far. I have to say that, my main goal is not for games, as its keyboard is specifically designed for it, I don't recommend for daily uses, as some usual functions you need additional key to have it available. The design and keyboard light color is quite interesting.

Extremely fast and great graphics and sound! Well done. As good as my son's homemade desktop that he built from scratch to be a top of the line cpu. Highly recommend this one.

This laptop is a workhorse. Perfect for gaming and CAD and anything else you throw it's way.

I love the laptop but not the fact that when I tried to have a shipped to me, at check out it said I couldn't get the free digital download of the call of duty game. So I had to uncheck that box.
