I got this as a work computer to replace my trouble-prone, 10-month old Lenovo desktop. At the time I bought the laptop my wife was in a nursing center recovering from a hospital stay. I didn't have in mind to use this for entertainment, but I downloaded several streaming apps and we watched many tv shows at her bedside. The sound quality is quite good for a laptop, as was the picture quality. This made the laptop more important than I had imagined. (Plus, it also handles my work-related software very well.)

This computer does exactly what I wanted and so much faster than my old HP with Windows 7. I do mostly just online shopping, email & news & searches. A "personal computer" not for business. I'm a senior citizen and not real computer savvy, so I dragged my feet getting a new Windows 10.....wasn't sure I could understand it. Just sorry now I didn't get it sooner. Very easy to operate and figure out everything on it. VERY happy with my purchase!!

Bought this for my 68 year old mother. She loves the big screen and found it very easy to use. Does what she wants it to do at a much faster speed than her old computer. Overall satisfied with the purchase.

I have had this laptop for a month and am still learning to use Windows 10. So far, I have really enjoyed this machine. It is fast and the keyboard is nice. I had a relative to set it up and transfer all my old files so it was really easy for me. I particularly wanted the DVD disc player included in the computer and those are not found on a great many laptops. If nothing happens, I am extremely happy with my decision to purchase this computer. I must admit I looked at many and hesitated for quite a long time.

I only bought this laptop for internet use but i can download anything on it such as itunes ect it’s very fast i love lovee the big screen & the quality . it’s just amazinggggggg

I've been using this laptop for a couple weeks now and I can say its a nice machine. Unfortunately, the wireless card in the laptop wouldn't stay connected to the internet, so I had to buy a secondary usb wireless adapter. Not to thrilled about it, but once I had my internet working properly my computer was able to update and all is well (other than having one of only 3 usb ports occupied). I can easily have many web browsers open and the computer keeps going without slowing down. I can stream music and surf the net without issues. The screen is large and bright and the keyboard is super responsive. The CD/DVD drive works great, it connects Bluetooth devices with ease, and is super quiet even when its been working for a while. I haven't had the chance to test out the battery yet but I don't think it will be an issue.

The screen on this computer is it good size. My only problem with it is the size of the keyboard it makes it hard to type . Price is right

I purchased this to use for my business. It’s lightweight and slim with a huge screen which I love. I was disappointed that the keypad is not backlit and the mousepad does not offer the option to scroll like my old laptop. Took some getting use to. Purchased a mouse to compensate. It was a good price and the operating system works great.

Set up was a pain but after that it works really nice. Now I have a laptop as fast as my desk top. It's lighter and has a better screen than my old one. battery life is very good!!

Starting to buy a 15 inch that the salesman was trying to sell me he said it ran faster but I went with the 17in and this is the best laptop I've ever had

I walked through the entire computer section and was drawn to this laptop! It was the most reasonable on price it was a nice size screen and hardware.

One has to rate this based on the fact it’s a cheap laptop, under $500; and with that and any new laptop at that price range it has a mediocre screen when compared to a 4K Apple, but it’s reasonable for office applications and web surfing, same goes for the processing speed and hard drive. The case is plastic and lacks the finesse of higher end units. If this laptop is cared for gently it’s should be a fitting computer for one with simple needs like a senior citizen.

I needed a computer for home use. This laptop fills all my needs. I love the size of the screen. It is fast to respond.

Upgraded to this laptop. Love the size. Easy initial setup. Would definitely recommend if you need the larger screen size.

very easy to setup. This set of features is perfect for a regular user who works on several databases and program applications at the same time. The big screen display of 17.3 in" is a must for clarity of visuals. The speed is fast and performance is accurate. It performs basic functions to help me do the job. I don't play video games.

This is a great laptop. Large screen. Fast and easy to use. This is a replacement for my 10 yr. HP 17-inch screen laptop.

This replaced my older 17 in. laptop and is much faster The large screen helps me view multiple programs simultaneously.

I needed a new Lap because a lot of the keys no longer worked. Did a little research, decided to buy this one. The 17 inch diagonal screen is great. has an HDMI hookup so you can project on to your tv with sound. My last HP gave me no sound with the connection. Sad thing is, I'll to relinquish it to my son in another week fo r his college freshman year! The things we do for our kids.

It helps me a lot for my work, it is fast and very efficient, it does not freeze me.The price is good I recommend it!
