This is a overall a decent computer but was a paid to set up. It comes with windows 10 in S mode. I had a heck of a time getting it out of S mode and had to look at online help to do it. When in S mode you cannot download anything onto the computer that isn't on Microsoft store so you really don't want to keep it on that mode. Also I still haven't been able to link it to my printer to print. Every time I try and download the Canon printer software the driver software never downloads thus making it not connect to the the printer to print. So I have to use my old computer anytime I want to print or else buy a new printer which I don't want to do because the printer isn't that old. There is also not much free software on the computer. So I have to use my old computer to type up word documents. I would recommend this computer to people that just want to use the internet and stuff but if you want more spend more money and buy a model that has more stuff. I wish I had.

Easy set up, simple to use, works fast. I would've given it 5 stars if the battery life were better. It lasts 5 hours tops and I need something that lasts longer. The audio also sounded a bit muffled for some reason, but it seems to be a common problem with Realtek from what I've read on Google

Great laptop for website browsing. It’s fast and I love the screen size for composing Word docs. Would recommend this laptop to people who want a big screen but not a desktop.

First time I have owned a computer with a solid state drive. They are very fast just as advertised. Getting used to windows 10 finally. It starts up quick and shuts down quicker. Nice machine. I use it for cad on the road. Thumbs up.

Good price on this HP Laptop. Pretty average as I compare to my past ones. No problems so far. Very lightweight and the large screen is very good. Average speed-great storage capacity.

First off, I was forced to buy a new laptop fairly quickly since the screen on my 4 year old Lenovo crapped out and it was gonna cost a minimum of $500 to repair (per Best Buy Geek Squad). So, while this wasn't the cheapest laptop available, it was far from the $1400 - $2100 laptops that a gamer seems to like. It is lighter than my other one, and the screen and keyboard size was one of the reasons I bought this one. Also, it has an SSD, which, as I have come to learn, it far superior in terms of longevity, than the older generation hard drives. It did NOT have a backlit keyboard, which I had hoped for. Also, it came with that insidious Windows 10, which kept me from downloading some other software unless it was disabled, so that was kind of a pain in the a _ _.

We purchased this laptop for our convention registration, and it has outperformed what we bought it for. Great size for seeing lots of desktop items; fast and responsive. So happy with it we went back and bought another one!

Needed a basic computer for word, excel, power point, banking and investment. This computer fit the bill st a hood price. It has a 27” screen so nice to work with. Boots up in seconds and is user friendly. All I wanred.

We live the size of the computer, but we thought it was a touch screen. Would have liked it to have been a backlit keyboard.

Happy Wife ... Happy Life! I purchased this laptop for my wife and now I am totally jealous and lusting to take it away from her! It has a light weight, fast laptop. I purchased it because of its huge 17.3" screen and the super fast SSD (Solid State Drive), instead of a mechanical hard drive. With the SSD it boots from a complete shut down much faster than mine. It has a full sized key board with number pad on the side, very handy for entering numbers in spreadsheets etc. Unlike many new laptops, it still has a DVD drive for play back / recording / software installation. The display is very good. Soon after I purchased it, Best Buy put it on sale, and I got a price match refund of $192. WOW! The only issue I had so far ... it started to crash a lot. Even then it would be back up in almost no time due to the super fast SSD. I used the HP support trouble shooter and "crash code" and found a driver was corrupted and I re-installed the driver. Now it is running as it should. Just be aware, this has a large screen, so it is not a tiny note pad.

This laptop is exactly what I was looking for - a basic computer for home use. It's a replacement for an older model. This one is definitely faster, has more storage, and I love the large screen size.

The laptop is incredibly fast—from start up to running several progress at once. The large screen makes working a pleasure. It was delivered even faster than originally expected and was a great price.

Happy with laptop - fast enough to run multiple programs. Nice weight and like the screen size.

This is my first laptop. I got it for work doing emails, word, scheduling and basic web browsing. So far I love it! I don’t have much to compare it to. I’m not tech savvy and this has been so easy to setup and use. Definitely recommend!!

Lightweight, stylish and easy to use is how I'd describe this computer. I've had many before this one but this is by far the fastest processor. That's what matters to me. Speed and ease of operation.

We use this laptop so I can remote in to the office. Nice big screen and a solid state hard drive (more reliable). Decent ram at 8GB but when you remote in you don't really need high specs.

This is my first laptop and it is fantastic! I wanted one with a larger screen and this one fit the bill. The software is no different than any other laptop, it's fast and has a ton of memory.

I bought this computer to replace my 10 year old Sony Viao laptop. It is really fast, easy to setup, large screen and lightweight. I recommended it to a friend who in turn purchased it.

My old 10 year old laptop computer finally died and needed a new one. Purchased this laptop and it works just great!!! Wider screen and lots more faster than my old laptop - guess it was time to get into the mid-21st century!! Unfortunately, I did not look at all the connection ports and such and thought that all the old items from my dead laptop would fit. NOPE!! had to purchase an adapter and everything works just great.

This laptop has been a workhorse during the past several weeks of work-from-home. It is quick and smooth. The screen is large, which is great for videoconferencing. Very easy setup.
