Bought this for my dad who's 87 and he can use this computer with very little help from me. I did show him some pointers.

It took me hours of installing antivirus software and running the programs numerous times to get the spy and adware programs off of this computer. And I still get way more pop ups than I have with any other computer I ever owned.

I've had this computer for a couple of months now, it's OK but nothing special. Slow internet connections (it's not my ISP that's the problem), especially on Facebook...scrolling down the newsfeed is a real chore. Does fine on downloading for the most part, streaming is decent but not great. Alright purchase for the price I suppose, but should have spent a little more and hopefully gotten better speed.

I think HP is not a quality company and I will not buy or recommend to anyone to buy HP JUNK.

If you are looking at this tower understand one thing up front. This PC is meant for lighter usage, not gaming. I'm talking school, email, web browsing, social media, Microsoft Office tools, doing your taxes, etc. I'm coming from a Dell All-In-One AMD Athlon II bought back in 2012. We mostly used our phones or tablets instead of our desktop so I didn't need an expensive tower just to do some online shopping and school work. I got this on sale, $50 off, so that made it even better. One thing I didn't realize is how big the tower is, it's huge by today's standards. The first thing I did before even turning it on was put in two 8GB DDR3 sticks to max out at 16GB, ensuring I put the lower end CPU AMD A6 to work. It's very simple to install new RAM, a quick Google search will teach you. I recommend this. Spend the extra money up front for this, it's not THAT expensive and you will get the most out of your tower. In doing so, I realized how empty this tower is. There's barely anything inside. The tower looks nice though, it's not ugly, just bigger than maybe some people will like. It's very quiet though, which is a plus. It was surprisingly fast to set up and update. There's barely any bloatware for you to uninstall, which is great. It comes with a corded mouse and keyboard which will eat two of the six USB ports. There's also no HDMI port, which means you may need an adapter like I did. Best Buy carries an adapter called J5 Create which works. That eats another USB port. In the end, I highly recommend this computer for those looking for a cheaper computer. Know your needs when you purchase this set up and you will be just fine.

replaced my old computer. works great ! doesnt seem to be much faster though

I told the sales person I only needed a computer for emails, shopping, banking and FB, especially farm ville 2 so nothing fancy. This HP was cheap enough but is junk, very dissatisfied. It is beyond slow, pauses often, . Would rather have paid more and bought one I could be happy with.

The computer tower performs flawlessly; however I am not comfortable with the Windows 10 package, guess it's all in what you become acustomed to as in Windows &.

I didnt know how to buy a computer. My coworker helped me choose this one for the things i told him I needed to do. It's actually better than I thought.

I still learning what it can do for me. So far sp good.
