Slower than my lap top. Case is very bulky. Get lots of errors did not get before.

Step down from ASUS and constantly harassed by McAfee about needing to buy service

Has problems downloading anything and too susceptible too catching viruses. The first 4 days of having the computer I had to contact support. I only put a star because I have to to send this review.

Not much to this PC. Not expandable. Exchanged it for an ASUS.

computer freezes up constantly. buy at your own risk. I bought for my daughter , will not run Photoshop. I wish I could return it, but I waited too long. I called Best Buy, they didn't help. Talked to HP support , they tried to help. But issues continue. I'm more than unhappy .

To slow, spend more money and get something better

I still have my old PC, Windows 7 and it works better than my new PC, Windows 10. Not sure if it is the PC or Windows 10. Computer gets stalled and freezes. Outlook email barely works. I wish that I would not have purchased it.

Have had problems since got. Locks up. Have to pull Plug to turn off and restart. Won't keep correct time and date in. Cheap made. Harder to figure out things than Windows 7. Wished I HAD GOT MY WINDOWS 7 FIXED.

Couldn't go on line. Processer AMD would not work with windows 10. Gave a blue screen with unhappy face. Had to return to store. Got a different brand computer. Lenovo. Same thing. Don't get AMD processer's.

Returned this computer due to a defective video card. It was a very inexpensive computer. The return was hassle free. Good folks at the Pueblo, Co store

This computer has never worked well. It came with Windows 10 and it has been slow and half the time you try to use it freezes. I would not recommend this to my worst neighbor!

Bought this at a Best Buy store locally. Its very light- compact. Thus far after 6 months its performance is good for most tasks. The 1.8ghz speed is a wee pokey at times- mostly on the Facebook News Feed. Other then that You Tube is very good along with other streaming like Netflix or Amazon Prime.At 6GB of Memory perhaps 8 would speed things up a little more- but not bad. Large 1TB Hard drive is nice. AMD A6 630 quad Core is a good processor. Overall a decent computer at a good price.

Purchased H P computer Dec 17, 2016. Multiple problems, this computer no better than my old one. Very disappointed.

I always have problem with the wifi connection. Able to connect to router but no internet.

I bought this because the motherboard I had for my other tower was shot. So far its a nice computer but I'd like to up grade it from 6GB ram to 8 but I'm unable to find a samsung memory card for 4Gb

I bought one for less than $300. Looking to replace an aging and unstable older desktop, I was looking for inexpensive. It's inexpensive. It's quite a good basic machine, with some significant limitations which might or might not be of concern, depending what you want to do with it. PROS + Inexpensive. Very. But I said that already. + Reasonable performance. The A6 does an automatic overclocking which helps performance, but don't buy for gaming, ok? + 1TB hard drive CONS - Processor is soldered into the mobo, so no upgrades for you! - Only 6GB of RAM. I repurposed memory from the retired machine to give it the full 16GB (the max allowed). It helped. - Only one hard drive. There are no spare power or data cables for a second HD. So you can't put another HD in the box. I got around this with an external HD caddy via USB to hold the data HD from the old machine. Hard to see even why this is a tower box, since the point is usually to be able to put stuff in it like, well, extra hard drives or cards. Speaking of which: - No cards. There's only one mini PCI express slot which is not accessible externally, so no video card upgrades for you either! Video performance is ok so I didn't find it a problem, but it might have been nice to reuse the video card from my old machine. - External power supply. One of the reasons this is cheap is that it doesn't have an internal power supply. It uses an external brick, just like a laptop. First desktop I've ever seen with this. I don't know if this is really a negative, though it does add to the nest of cables behind the computer. SUMMARY If price is your primary concern this is a good machine. If performance and extensibility is important, probably not. My four star rating is mostly because it was a really good deal pricewise.

Nice PC. Runs very quietly. Was surprised I didn't have to wait on an hour of updates after installing. Like another said, there is a lot of wasted space in the case. But for $299.00.....who cares??
