Printed a total of 57 black and white pages over the year. The last 6 were barely legible. Needs to be replaced. I disagree with the high yield claim. This is nothing new w HP unfortunately. Im thinking the knock off brands are just as good and less pricey if all im getting is 57pages.

I am sorry to hear this situation is happening. We hope for better results for our valued customers.
The most likely scenario is that your ink is clogged. Clean the printhead with a cloth or approved solution. There is an automatic process on the printer’s menu to clean the cartridges.
Your ink cartridge might be close to empty. It might be time to switch out the current cartridge for a new one.
It might be a hardware issue with your printer. Run a diagnostic check.

I see you are having trouble getting the cartridge to print. I apologize for the circumstances. I can assist with suggestions to resolve the problem. Unplug and restart the printer. The printer might not recognize that you installed a new cartridge. If that doesn't work, revert any recent software updates. The latest software updates don't always remember new cartridges. A final option is contacting support at www.support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp/.

I am glad the delivery was speedy. The page yield missed your expectations. I want to help fix the results. The first trick is to keep the printer off unless actively using it. Save on colors by printing in black ink only. I would assess both the paper thickness and the page content. Both factors impact the page yield dramatically. We hope to hear from you again soon.

It is pretty terrible and only lasts through roughly one pack of paper. I actually bought a new (old school) laser printer yesterday for the office because of the expense in operating this one (expensive cartridges that dont last).

I like the ink however I have only printed about 30 pages and printer is telling me that I am low on ink. It is a “High-Yield” cartridge as well.
