This is just the standard ink cartridge. If I did a higher volume of printing, the InkTanks would be a better option. Overall, this is a good quality. The black is a true black which helps with submitting professional documents.

Perfect for my needs and affordable as well. I needed a high yield black ink cartridge. The Geek Squad team member helped me out by telling me what was available in my price range!

Definitely worth it to get the XL. This ink is cheaper than other inks I have purchased in the past and it is lasting a long time with good quality prints.

Always use HP ink for MyHP printer. Ordered from what I thought was HP ink from Amazon and it was a different brand which I returned. Will be back to buy a color cartridge soon. Never like to run out. Haven't used this one yet.

The High-Yield Ink cartridge in black has been a great and wonderful help to me. I can print more copies with the quantity of ink it contains. I highly recommend the cartridge for printing.

All ink performs equally well for my purposes. The XL really is a money-saver, so unless you are a VERY infrequent printer - in which case the in MAY dry up before finishing, this is a good deal (and a good ink).

Much like the 3 color cartridge that goes as a set the Black cartridge is a better deal for people who print primarily B&W stuff. Who that is anymore I couldn't tell you. Simple, easily replaced, and widely available. Lasts longer than the regular black cartridge.

Was just going to purchase the smaller size but spoke with a salesperson and since we use the printer a lot he recommended the xl cartridges. Glad i listened we have got plenty of use out of them.
