I have been using HP printers for over 20 years. The fact remains that they have the market on inexpensive printers and starting to get competitive with their ink. However, if your using just black like the 74 and print a lot like I do in quality mode, these things need to be replaced quite frequently. I have started to buy the XL versions and it has saved a few dollars, but in a pinch the regular 74 works just fine.

I purchased a HP Inkjet cartridge 74 a few weeks ago. I had difficulty locating the product on the store shelf but the sales associate was very helpful. Cheaper than purchasing direct from HP. Always have good results with HP products in general. However, HP has increased their prices for this product. Best Buy gave me a more reasonable purchase price.

As far as this ink goes it seemed to work fine. I think everyone understands that printing manufacturers will lose money on the printer to charge exhorbitant price for the custom ink cartridges. This is how it unfortunately works and some day let's hope it doesn't. This is good ink good price.

Easy installation and the print comes out nice and clear

This laser jet ink is cheaper to buy the set of black with color, than purchasing separately. I tend to run out of black before the color, so this is available to purchase separately. The Best Buy price is about the same as anywhere else, but I get the Rewards points from Best Buy, so I tend to buy as much as I can from Best Buy.

Ink does the job it is meant for. I've used the ink close to 8years and it has never disappointed me, except once recently that I got an error message on my printer. Tried all trouble shooting and none worked. Got the cartridge replaced and everything worked fine.

I would have liked to have gotten the XL size. The associate informed me that it can be purchased on line and picked up in the store, so will probably do so next time. I needed the ink that day so purchased this size. HP ink has always been a good quality ink for my HP printer.

HP brand ink cartridges are my only replacement ink cartridges. I've tried third party cartridges, and sometimes they work, and sometimes they don't. The HP branded cartridge has never failed me. No good reason to use any other brand.

If you look in your printer, almost every time it will tell you the exact ink you need for replacement. It's the proper cartridge, so it works as it should many thumbs up for keeping them in stock. even for these older models.

I have been purchasing this ink cartridge ever since I got my HP J5700 printer about 12 years ago. Much better the the one time I tried a mongrel brand. Unfortunately, my printer bit the dust right after I bought the new cartridge.

I have had using HP ink products since long time ago and I always say that this brand is very reliable and affordable and comparing with others brand ink products in the market, this one exceed always my expectations.

I bought the HP74 inkjet cartridge as my previous cartridge was out of ink. I considered the XL version but did not want to spend the extra amount at this time. The cartridge works as expected and hopefully will last until I'm ready to spend again.

Yea, HP printers, bay far have the best print quality, even using the "regular" print settings. I have gone through many different printers and that's the bottom line! This Ink Cartridge will last for a while ;)

I used to buy my ink off Amazon for my old HP, but have found these to be cheapest at Best Buy. So glad that they keep them inexpensive when I burn through about 20 a year doing college research and papers.

I have never had a problem when buying one of these replacement cartridges from best buy. HP is always dependable on the quality of the product, and best buy always has it in stock when mine runs out.

I have tried knock off brands, but our printer works best when we use genuine hp inks. This black doesn't smear like some of the others. It seems to dry faster.
