    These XL cartridges are a small business dream since you have cheaper-than-laser print costs with great color and resolution. The better the paper the better the result. No reason to buy standard life unless it's just a home printer. I burn through 2 sets of these a year and it's a huge savings to have this much life to the cartridge.

    I used to refill my ink cartridges to save money. However, after doing this several times my printer stopped working. I think it was as a result of not using new ink cartridges. So I now buy new cartridges and try to send my old ones in to be recycled. Like the high capacity cartridges to save money.

    Don't waste your time with the regular cartridges; pay for the XL's. Print quality and endurance is excellent. The off brand cartridges will work, if you want to save money, but the print quality, waste, mess, and compatibility, in most cases, is not worth the hassle.
