Haven't had a new computer in 10 years. This has everything I need and want to meet my needs. Works so fast and was afraid of Windows 10 but now I love it. 72 years old and need for personal use, fits the bill.

Nice desktop. Fast for simply, easy work and school from home. But I returned it when I found that it doesn't have speakers. If you get this make sure your monitor has speakers.

Absolutely love the new HP Desktop computer with larger screen. Very pleased with the install & transfer of info from our old laptop that crashed. The Geek Squad and Salesman were very helpful and knowledgeable. The on-line assistance was very helpful also. The only disappointment was no one told us we needed to purchase speakers for our computer. We just assumed they were included in the monitor. We also don't have a camera in the monitor which we were not aware was missing. Other than that, we are very satisfied with our purchase from Best Buy and will continue to shop there.

I bought this machine to serve as a front end for media playback in a home theater. Initial setup was easy; it has very little try-me-ware to remove, and upgrading the memory and video were a snap. Gamers and those using a lot of processor power may want to step up, but for my purposes, and for those who surf the web and do some office work, this machine should fit the bill quite well.

This computer is much more powerful than you would think. I got it because I needed a replacement for a very old model I had. All I really do with my old computer was stream movies via Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ and others on top of playing DVDs like 4K and such. After replacing the DVD drive with a 4K player this computer handled it and handled it quite well.

Runs great. Works like a charm. So fast. I had been using a Hard Drive and this SSD (Solid State Drive) is so quiet and fast. I am glad I updated to this PC.

Got this one for my wife's birthday and she play's Wow, ESO, Fortnite, and more on it with amazing quality. With the AMD Ryzen it can handle any game or any task. You can also change hardware in it with ease. Overall its a great option for someone who is just getting their foot in the door or just needs something to start out.

The smaller size is nice because we can put it on the desk. The price was great. It suits us well and we will probably never know all that it can do.

I am a very basic user, no gaming, no art or extensive writing, just email, ebay and Proxibid. The old machine was getting very buggy, and I was afraid I would loose everything if I waited too long. The staff at Best Buy managed to transfer everything from the old to the new, without loss. Moving from Windows 8 to Windows 10 was not such a trial as say moving from 7 to 8 was, and now I can do Skype, which is a bib plus. Connecting to my existing Hp printer was a trial until I went on Google, and found out I was plugging and switching in the wrong order...

So far, I really like this computer. It has a solid state drive, and it's so much faster saving large amounts of data. The reason I withheld one star is that the first computer we received wouldn't boot. I got a message saying that Windows wouldn't load. After several unsuccessful attempts to boot, I returned the computer and exchanged it for a new one - same model. This one has been great. I don't play computer games, so I can't address that; but for my computer use, which is mostly working with documents and spreadsheets, using email and social media, and accessing the Internet for research and banking/shopping, this computer is just what I needed.

I did not have but maybe two hours of operation before my newly refurbished HP Desktop died. I called Geek Squad for six days but a physical problem prevented their diagnosis. They tried very hard, but no one can fix a broken computer over the internet. I like the brand (Hewett Packard), the price, the components (i.e., Ryzen 3 processor, 8 GB of memory, 1/4T Solid State Drive), and the quick and friendly return and refunding of money. I could cry in my cups, but this has been a positive experience. I respect Best Buy's values and service. I'm buying a replacement.

Pros: Even though 256gbs isn’t nearly enough storage, the SSD makes up with it in speed. Boot up times are almost non-existent. The aesthetics of the case are alright. Has a disc reader, enough USB ports, can connect wirelessly/wired to the internet, and has Bluetooth. Cons: This computer comes with a 180W power supply which you will have to change out if you want to add a graphics card. The problem is that the power supply is CUSTOM MADE. Even if you find a compatible power supply it will not fit properly in the case. The only solution to this problem would be buying a new case and power supply. But that doesn’t work because the motherboard doesn’t have standard connections for standard power supplies. The motherboard was made to only fit these 180w power supplies. Calling HP doesn’t get you anywhere because they don’t disclose the specifications or dimensions of this product. They also don’t offer an upgrade in their store and want the customer to find the appropriate power supply on their own with no information on the product. This HP Desktop is just an attempt for them to make more money, because consumers have no way of upgrading their computer and will inherently have to buy a new desktop if they want better performance. You might as well be buying a console with how little you can upgrade/modify on this “desktop”. This computer also comes bottle-necked right out the box because it only has one 8gb stick of ram. The 8gb of ram is cut to 6gb usable ram because of the APU, therefore you are forced to buy at least another 4gb ram stick if you want to get optimal performance. The problem with that is the stock ram stick might not be compatible with what you bought. This makes you have to buy 2x6gbs ram sticks. The keyboard keys are already looking worn even though I’ve had this for only a month. I would only recommend this HP Desktop to someone who would use it to send emails and watch youtube. You’re better off making your own build if you’re planning on using this for gaming.
