Bad HDMI port times 2
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.HDMI port is defective. Was mansplained that it couldn't possibly happen twice. Well, it did. 1st tower, the HDMI port went out at 20 days. They were kind enough to exchange it even though it was more than 15 days. 2nd tower: took it home, plugged it in, guess what? HDMI port also bad. Wouldn't come on, so I slightly wiggled it to see if it was seated properly. Monitor came on but was pixelated. Slight wiggle again and it worked. However, I don't want to take the chance that it will go out again. Either this port is defective, or they were installed by the same person who didn't put them in properly. Other than that, the computer worked great.

Nice PC with cheap front USB 2.0 ports
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a very nice PC. The first Windows 11 machine I have ever used. But it immediately started giving me problems as soon as I plugged a Topaz LBK57 color signature pad into one of the four USB ports on the front. I have installed dozens of these signature pads and never had any problems. All four front USB ports are black, indicating USB 2.0 and lower power available. On the back there are 2 black USB ports and 2 blue ones, indicating USB 3.0 with more power available. Signature pad kept restarting when plugged into any front USB port and never got a connection. Nothing showed in Devices and Printers. All other USB devices - mouse, keyboard, and barcode scanner - worked fine. At first I suspected a Windows 11 issue. So I downgraded to Windows 10, with the same results. The solution was to plug the signature pad into one of the blue ports on the back. Immediately started device setup and was successful. Please put nice blue ports on the front. How much did you save - 50 cents???

hp printer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Printer was not available to view in store (boxed only) apparently, store policy is not to open boxed items...which is in my opinion, not customer friendly.
