I replaced my old computer with this one. I'm extremely happy with how easy it was to get up and running. It's fast, graphics are great. It's a great price also for what I needed.

Fast, but little to work with inside. Even mounting a traditional hard drive is a challenge, but I was able to do. Motherboard is a bit of a joke, not much you can put in there. Buyer beware and check out the specs before you buy in regards to the limitations of what can be done with this computer. You have to buy a slim drive for it to fit. It is very fast and responsive and quiet.

Really fast with the i7 and SSD which is what I was looking for in a system along with a good price at the time during the holidays. Only downside is the 8G of RAM but will look at adding. Despite running a lot of internet windows, hasn't been an issue however. Hopefully, it stands up, have had endurance issues with other HP's in the past.

    A Convenient Value

Bought this for my mother so she could have a decent computer to use for work and browsing the internet. You know, light stuff - nothing intense. And it's actually really good for that! What I like about it is it's pretty small and easy to fit on a desk - we just stuffed it behind the monitor. There are also so many USB ports and it has bluetooth - always very convenient. For the heck of it, I checked out Minecraft on it, and it actually ran pretty well. I wouldn't be surprised if it could run a bit more light gaming, perhaps something like World of Warcraft. So, even if you're planning on stressing it a bit, I think you'd be okay. However, if you're planning on doing more than that, like upgrading it or attaching a 4K monitor to it, then I would definitely not get this product. We tried to attach a 4K monitor to it, and it was just impossible. Essentially, the computer wasn't strong enough for it, and trying to update the drivers was a Herculean task in itself. That's just how it goes, though, with these types of computers. You kinda have to take them as they are, in which case this is a good computer for normal office/web work and probably light gaming on a 1080 monitor, but not much else.

Vary Fast could use more memory so I added an WD - 2TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive with Hardware Encryption. a CORSAIR - VENGEANCE LPX Series 16GB (2PK 8GB) 2.4GHz DDR4 which was also a easy install. I purchased this computer to use with Lightroom and Photoshop for my photography editing.

I purchased this for my roommate as a gift. I have used it some some myself to set it up and check out its functionality. It performs very well . The design is great. If i needed another computer, this would be the one. Of course I have always been a HP fan.

So far this has been an excellent purchase. My internet service leaves a lot to be desired but this computers is working very well with my what little service I have. Much better than the older HP I replaced and for the price I couldn't be happier.

Perfect desktop for me. I'm a graphic designer on somewhat of a budget and I've done all of my work on a higher-end laptop that only had 8GB RAM. If you know anything about RAM and graphic design, you know that's nearly impossible for more rigorous work including multiple programs at once. I don't mind a small hard drive since I work mostly in external HDs or cloud services anyway. I was primarily looking for a reliable PC with a good CPU (i7+) and expandable RAM (16GB+). I prefer to expand RAM than pay a couple hundred extra for it to be pre-installed. I found this deal on Black Friday and had to go for it. I upgraded the RAM to 16GB (32GB max for this PC) for about $50 and this thing has worked wonders so far! It doesn't have all the bells and whistles but at this price, it's great so long as you're not running massive programs without upgraded RAM or gaming.

It’s a good computer. No problems so far. I added a 3TB hard drive because the 256 SSD that came with it is just to small. However, I still run may apps from the SSD because it’s lightning fast when programs load from it. I may need to buy an external optical drive because there is place to stick an internal drive in the case. Still, it’s a good buy and serves many basic functions and even video editing which is what in mainly use it for.

I was able to find on sale for a decent price so I feel I got a good bang for the buck. For those switching from mechanical hard disk drive to this SSD the difference is substantial and very noticeable in terms of boot times, opening applications, browsers etc. It only comes with 8GB RAM memory which is really not sufficient for most users especially since this device comes with integrated graphics unit with the Intel core i7 processor which relies on system memory to work. I upgraded to 16gb RAM which I noticed made a significant difference in snappiness. PC with the SSD is very quiet, can barely tell it's on. I installed an extra HDD to add storage capacity however it made a lot more noise so I removed it. I also do not think the PSU is up to the task of adding anything more to this PC other than RAM. Reason for 4 stars is I wish the PC a little more upgradeable to a better GPU however the PSU is really limiting in upgrading anything to this PC.

Good upgrade for our home and good price. Enjoy the I 7 speed, compact design, sleek styling and features. Hewlett Packer Brand has been reliable for us for years, and not needing to purchase a bundled product saved us money.

Very good computer st a reasonable price. No disc drive is a disappointment but an external drive mated seamlessly. Very quick wireless intercom. I would have given it five stars if it had a disc drive.

In the past I have bought full-size with all the bells and whistles desktop computers - because, you know, bigger and more is better. However, when I needed to replace my desktop recently, I decided to downsize to save money and space. After a lot of research I settled on this HP model. Out of the box the computer ran well and did what I needed it to do - mainly online use, doc and spreadsheet work, that type of thing. I really had no complaints. However after a couple weeks I purchased and installed 16GB RAM - not out of any issue with the computer - I always increase the RAM on any computer I buy. The RAM upgrade really helped the speed, as expected. Overall, though, I am happy with the purchase and will likely 'go small' again the future.

This CPU is silent, fast, and definitely meets my needs very well. I discovered it would not work unless connected to the wall outlet. I will be returning tomorrow to Best Buy to purchase a newer surge protector that will meet the needs of this new set-up. I never saw the on button light up until it was plugged into the wall even though It worked a few days. Then it quit until I plugged it into the wall. Puzzling.
