Not a bad looking machine with a nice screen and plenty of storage. It has minor scuff here and there but it work 100% fine. I was surprised that the O/S asked me to upgrade to Windows 11 Pro. It is perfect for what I needed it for and it even comes with a 1-year warranty. I need to be able to store the drone videos I’m taking. The 1TB NVMe and the 1920x1080p screen convinced me. I can leave my good machine at home and use this remotely without issues. Having an HDMI cable also helped I could plug into any TV to go over what was captured without having to go through the hassle of converting formats. This ended up being the go to computer at my house. I was told that an 8th generation laptop would be good enough for school work and occasional work from home. I’m able to login via internet without any issues. The screen is decent and we can even watch movies on it. Needed several machines for a remote work project. This HP ended up having the specs and the storage needed to get everybody on the team working. Would have liked to have 15” screen but this is fine. Might end up needing more of them it was nice to know that Best Buy would be able provide more if needed. The price and the warranty made business sense to me.

I purchased this refurbished laptop from JoySystems. It came one day earlier than expected, and after spending some time with it, I can already say I am very happy with my purchase. It came with a free upgrade of Windows 11 as well as a set of instructions for how to install it. The instructions were very helpful as I needed some assistance installing Windows 11. I am also very happy with the condition of the laptop, there was no damage in the delivery process, packaged very well, and runs very fast.

The best thing about this laptop is the display, which is crystal clear and bright. It's not the world's biggest display, but I use an external monitor much of the time anyway. The speed isn't bad and would probably be better if I didn't have it loaded down with a few gigs of photos. Like my previous HP laptop, this one gets quite warm. I'm hoping that's not a bad sign. All in all, though, I'm happy with this buy.

Laptop is good so far. It was delivered early which is awesome. The only issue I had was the delivery method. The package made it very clear that it was a laptop & it was left at my door with no requirement for signature. I work from home so was able to grab it before any potential theft. I don’t remember seeing options to request more careful delivery but perhaps they were there. It just seems like a lot of money to spend, even being a refurbished laptop, to have left at the door with no confirmation of receipt.

Excellent computer for college and small business.

The speakers didn’t work. They put a sticker on the cover to make it look better than it was, it’s got some pretty deep scratches on it. The store told me I was SOL because I didn’t buy the warranty. It legit had these problems since i opened the box.

This computer is excellent. It has everything I need on a computer. It has great speed, even when multiple applications are open. In terms of design, it's fairly light and easy to bring along when traveling. I was able to upgrade to Windows 11 for absolutely free. The battery life is good and even has a battery-saving option. The package arrived a day early and has a 1-year warranty. If you are looking for a computer in the less expensive range, this computer is 100% worth the money.
