I received this as a gift, an upgrade from my 11.4" HP Pavilion dm1. I liked the compactness of the Pavilion, so I was hesitant about a 13.3". I chose this one based on style, memory, battery life, audio, and weight. I love the 13.3" Envy. It is extremely thin and lightweight and doesn't seem much larger than the dm1, except that the dm1 is bulkier. The audio is crisp and clear and the keyboard is quiet. It is so fast compared to my old laptop. I debated about the touchscreen, and I don't use it very often (I don't like the fingerprints on the screen) but happy to have it as an added bonus, just in case. Using Zoom on it is very clear too. I hope this lasts me a decade!

I purchased this computer for my college students needs. I love my Chromebook but it can't do everything a traditional laptop can. I went with this one because it came highly recommended and the price point for the performance was great. However, I purchased it online and I didn't realize how small the screen was (honestly a mistake on my part). I wound up returning and exchanging for the 17 inch screen and it has more memory. I love the design on both models, it looks so sleek and modern.

It all around what I wanted and what I expected. I really love the backlight for the keyboard it was the deciding factor for me. It also has a touchscreen function which comes in handy when u tired of the finger pad.
Wish it had an internet button on the keyboard but that's just personal preference. A little smaller than I anticipated, definitely recommend a bigger screen if it's in your budget

Owned it for 6 weeks, while in use shut off and that was it. Fast, loved the keyboard for a small laptop, screen clear and sharp.
Guess I was one of the unlucky buyers of an HP, seems all brands have a number of early on issues with quality.

So disappointed. I did a ton of research before I purchased this for my daughter’s first year of college. Within weeks it crashed and to HPs credit, they replaced it—but what a nuisance. And now, 8 mo later it crashes again and evidently it’s out of warranty (!). Two and a half hrs on the phone with customer service they got it up and running but man—inexcusable performance.

This HP laptop is the best I've had. I used to have a Lenovo, but this laptop is far better. The speed is great with Windows 10, and the keyboard is awesome. The is no hesitation with the touchpad when scrolling. The setup is very simple, and I will continue buying HP if they continue to be this good.

An absolute hunk of junk- never buying HP again

I heavily researched a good laptop to buy that wasn't ridiculously priced like a Mac and this came up. However after less than a year in, the screen flickers constantly during my zoom meetings and colored bars come across the screen, often preventing me from seeing what is written on the screen during these classes and participating. After jumping through a million HP "customer service" hoops, I was finally given the chance to send it in for "repair", though I doubt they actually did anything. Having similar problems and though I've only had it less than a year they will give me a minuscule amount back to me if I want to sell it back. HP products are hunks of junk and I will never buy from them again. I should have just bit the bullet and gone with a Mac.
