I had been using a 5ish year old HP laptop for remote work. It crashed on me one day out of the blue and left me scrambling for another way to get work done. I was pretty picky on laptops this go around. I love the touchscreens. It is very big and classic looking. I prefer the backlit lights that can be adjusted which this has. I am curious as I heard this fan go off a handful of times and sounds like a plan taking off, whereas I never heard the fan on my previous laptop. All in all a nice purchase. I am hoping to get several years worth out of this purchase for the price.

I was long overdue to upgrade my laptop. Over the years I have grown tired of the small screen on my previous laptop and decided to go with the larger screen. Overall I have been very please with this laptop. Setup was a breeze. The performance is great. The picture quality is far superior to anything I have seen before. If there is a downside it’s that the laptop is pretty heavy. Also, the cord used to charge the device gets pretty hot for some reason, but aside from these two items I am overjoyed. At this time I have not tried out the Alexa component of the laptop. I will give that a go in the next few days. If I experience issues I will let you know.

Given everything that's going my prior laptop has been converted into a work laptop. So having already been in the market for a new laptop I decided to purchase this one and I must say I'm not one bit disappointed. The speed of this machine alone makes up it worth it. I've stress tested the machine running multiple programs at once and each started with no real issues. I've yet to fully try out the video editing speed and photo editing but general use is great the video quality is AMAZING even though it's not a 4k display. My only complaint.......the webcam isn't the best but then again....I don't use a webcam very often if at all. Overall great purchase.

This is the second HP ENVY laptop we have purchased from Best Buy in the last two years. Both great machines. I have seen model attributes change the placement of controls to what I believe is a more ergonomic on keyboard experience instead of switches and buttons on the side. We have both the 15 and now the 17" models. The extra real estate on the 17" screen is nice to have. Besides handling work related task and video conferencing this computer has done a great job edition videos and pictures for which the 1065G7 cpu was designed. I have found that during the initial break in period with BIOS updates and during some program installations the fan will run like a jet engine, however, 99% of the time you hear nothing. This is a quiet laptop. So far so good 3 weeks into ownership and teleworking up to 10+ hours a day, I am really happy with this purchase.

Nice pandemic laptop. Got this for work and personal use and I totally love the big screen. Just don’t love its weight when I have to move it around. Easy to use. No issues so far.

Graphics and speed are excellent. Start up time is very quick. The only complaint I have is that the fan is somewhat noisy. Other than that, this computer was a good buy.

I work in finance. I was looking for a fast laptop computer that had a large enough screen to aid in working with Excel, including a 10-key. This computer fit the bill. It's super fast and the screen size is absolutely amazing to the point where a second monitor, while nice, is not all that necessary to do my work. I would definitely recommend this laptop to a coworker. It's also got a really easy bio metric finger print reader on the keyboard for aiding in logging in without entering a password.

Made this purchase so the teen boy could participate on his Zoom Photoshop class. This baby had the power of Gray Skull and could run PhotoShop and Zoom at the same time! It can actually do much more but there was limited supply of laptop choices available due to Covid everyone work from home situation. The 17” screen is a beaut easy to see everything on it. It syncs with our desktop. This babe of electronics should get the kid through High School. One con...17” laptop not light.

The HP Envy is the perfect laptop for everyday use and has the power to edit pictures and videos. I set it up by myself in 2 hours. I use One Drive so I had few documents to transfer from old laptop. I don't like the back lit keyboard, but there is a way to completely turn it off. I like the toggle switch to turn on/off the camera. I don't have to put a piece of tape over the camera anymore.

This laptop was easy to unpack and to set up. The screen is nice and large, and so are the keys. Since the keys are silver, they may be a bit hard to see. Cortona will talk to you through the instructions, so there’s really no need to worry about going off track. My mom is very happy with the purchase.

What a great decision to choose this HP Laptop. We all get disappointed when something we rely on so heavily stops working. That's what happened to my old laptop. After doing my research on other brands to replace my laptop, I looked at every manufacturer and kept coming back to HP. I like that is it has a 17.3 inch TOUCH screen. The design is sleek and smart looking. The screen clarity is amazing, the touch screen capability is fast and convenient. The hard drive has plenty of room for my use and the processor lets me run multiple high demand programs in multiple windows with no noticeable loss of speed or quality. This new HP Envy has increased my productivity and has made projects quicker. The loss of my old laptop turned out to be a positive event because it lead me to this HP Envy. I looked at four or five other brands and none of them could meet my needs like the HP-Envy with it's touch screen. The Bang & Olufsen speakers produce crisp, clear sound and the volume is good enough that an entire room of people can hear sounds or speech wherever they are in the room. The fingerprint reader security system is sensitive and immediately unlocks the screen once set up. I also like the fact that this HP has a camera kill switch that turns off the camera to ensure your privacy. Finally, the HP-Envy has its own dedicated NVDIA GeForce MX330 graphics processor so the main processor isn't slowed or effected by graphics functions. You can control the Graphics from a dedicated Graphics Command Center for Windows 10. In our complicated new world, while many of us have to work or go to school from home for a while, this HP-Envy with it's touch screen, high quality processors, high resolution edge to edge screen, Bang & Olufsen sound system, Bluetooth capability, and fast Wi-Fi connectivity will meet every task you demand of it and more!! I'm glad my old laptop stopped working.

Just got this laptop yesterday to upgrade my entry level, cheap laptop. I am very happy with the graphics and the performance of this device. Like the other reviews, I was very impulsive and almost about to buy the latest Microsoft Surface Pro 7. Instead I happened to find this laptop and decided to buy this.

This is a very versatile well built computer. It is easy to use, has plenty of memory, and is extremely fast. One real plus is that it has a key that turns off the camera function so that nobody can spy on you. When I do want to use the camera, it is clear and efficient. The screen is large and clear and has a sensitive touch feature. This is the fastest and most efficient computer I have owned, and so far has had no problems.

This was a replacement for my 9 year old desktop. After alot of research, I decided on a 17 inch laptop and I am not disappointed. Easy setup right out of the box. Keyboard with a great touch and numeric keypad a plus. Only regret is no RJ45 or ethernet port. Easily handled with a ethernet to usb adapter. Speed is great. Have heard the fan rarely, but can be a little loud. Overall, extremely pleased.

I'm not a very techy person but I needed a new one since my 6 year old laptop started showing signs of age. I'm very happy with this one, from the touchscreen to the backlit keyboard (love it) to the fingerprint identification to sign in to windows. Very fast and easy. This is a great laptop and I would recommend this to anyone.

Pleasant surprise when I went to Best Buy Gallaria Mall to buy a new laptop. The sales man was great! He notified me of a discount I was eligible for and took care of me promptly. That P.C. I purchased is very fast and better than expected. Yes expensive but I believe you get what you pay for. I got the newer processor and couldn't be happier. Over all a great experience and purchase.

Hands down the best laptop I've owned. It has a super clear picture, keys don't stick, backlit camera is awesome, the built in Alexa is fun.. I just love it!! Only thing I have found that is annoying is the number lock goes on by itself on the 10 key, so I'm constantly having to turn it back on manually.. Kinda lame, but doesn't take away from the AMAZING that is this computer. Love love love!!!

We really like this HP - ENVY 17.3" Touch-Screen Laptop... . It's fast, quiet and the larger screen is great for working with tables, graphs, and charts with any type of analysis. Keyboard has a nice touch. We have been using the HP since mid-May 2020.

Originally bought this computer for web meetings for work but then it became the kids’ computer for their virtual schooling. The touch screen function is great, the graphics and sound quality are excellent. I liked this so much that I bought an HP desktop with the same features for my oldest son to replace his old pc when it stopped working.

it has no sound, everything works perfect I love it!!! but its been a headache trying to get it fixed with HP, I finally called Best Buy they will fix it by installing a driver, should have done that to begin with, other than that, Loving the big screen, its fast, quiet and looks sleek!
