    So far, so good

Although I had an HP printer, that didn't quite make it 2 years (!!), I went ahead and bought another HP. For as little as I print, so far I've had no problems. One thing I wish was different, though, is how the paper goes in. It has to go in a certain way, rather than just 'throwing it in'.

I like it because of the small size - does not occupy lots of space. It was easy to setup and the print quality is excellent. High value for the price.

Since I hadn't looked at reviews first I didn't know what I was getting. It was a very low price in a bundle with my new laptop. Color photos come out much better than my last printer. It does seem to have a mind of its own sometimes, but that could be due to operator error. Of course it doesn't come with a manual and so it takes a little longer to find out some of the basics. I like that it's a wireless connection to my home network - makes it so easy to print. The paper set up is different for me and seems to involve extra steps; I always had Epson printers before. Changing the paper size is an unnecessary step compared to the Epson all-in-ones, where you just place the paper where you want it. Envelopes or labels print out an extra blank page first - that may be just some setting I have wrong, but how to find out? Nothing in troubleshooting addresses this. Also I predict the flimsy paper catcher is bound to break off soon. Overall it's a fine printer for the money I spent.

This printer is very small, barely makes any sound at all, and works pretty quickly. For some reason I'm having difficulty with one of my laptops to print, but I don't think that's the printer's issue. It picks up wifi very quickly and you can print from your phone which is great.

A year ago my old HP inkjet had a few springs pop out if it, turning it into a scanner only, and I picked up a Brother Laser Printer. Now decided to add color back into the mix and this HP Envy 4500 has been great. My wife loves the wireless printing and being able to click print from her iPad then later go to the printer and find her documents and pictures.

HP made this printer so easy to set up that a chimpanzee could do it. Wireless, WiFi printer satisfies all of your printing needs. I only gave it four stars because it wasn't available in Silver to match my laptop. Great product, very simple to set up, and even comes with a free pack of black and white ink and a pack of color ink. I'm very pleased.

Does scan, copy, and print functions easily and with good speed. Enough features to make this a value purchase. My only complaint is what all the manufacturers have done- reduce the ink volume in a cartridge and raise the price of them. I had an old HP 722 injet printer that used #45 black tanks that lasted forever and were the price of the current #61xl tank. It's like the way safety razors were sold. Almost give the razor away to get you to buy the blades. Nothing new in business and profiteering. At least now there is ink monitoring technology so one does not run out of ink in the middle of an important project late a night when an important print job is needed first thing in the morning.

This is a wifi enable printer that we purchased to replace an older HP printer that started having wireless gremlin problems. This printer is very affordable, stupid-easy to install, and seamlessly communicates with all of our devices. I printed from my iPhone minutes after plugging the printer into our wall. The quality of the print is great. I recommend.

I haven't had to use a printer at home in a few years. Now that myself and another household member are attending school, it seemed smart to get a printer that could handle our needs. This printer is amazing, it networks throughout the house and with our wifi, it connects to our computers individually and flawless. It also prints very sharp, as well as copies right on top of it. Including scans, which I haven't tried. I'm sure it will hold up fine. Lastly, though I'm sure faxing is becoming more and more obsolete, this does both faxes and I believe emails from itself. I believe this is more than your usual all in one printer. Good cost. Never felt I was getting ripped off.

This printer prints, scans, copies and produces photos with ease! It is really economical for a student such as myself. One minor drawback is it was a little difficult to set up at first but I quickly learned what to do.

Easy to setup. Works flawlessly. Seems to be constructed pretty well. Haven't printed any pictures on it yet so I can't speak to it's photo quality, but everything else prints quickly and looks good. First wireless printer I have ever owned. Really like not having a wired connection. Got it on sale for $49 with free shipping. Well worth it.

I just bought this printer, and I love it. Its web capable, and easy installation, and if you sign up with HP Ink replacement program, you get your ink sent to you in the mail for less than 3.00 a month. Pretty awesome when your in school like myself. Worth the money.
