This computer was so easy to set up and is lightening fast. Maybe because my old computer was so slow, but I swear, I'm saving like an hour a day not waiting for things to load. Very happy with Best Buy's employees who helped me figure out which machine I needed. And the delivery was very quick. Happy customer here!

The speed is good, but almost no apps are installed on this product. The cd/dvd drive is flimsy and awkward to use.

Freakin love this system!! Got it as a replacement for my 12 year old HP Envy and this bad boy is SUPER fast!! I keep all my files in "the cloud" so hardly any memory usage, unless needed. Can't give enough high praises about its responsiveness and readiness to go!

I'm taking a star because the first one I bought was a dud--screen froze 10x day, completely randomly, and I needed it for work, was too busy to return it until, about 10 days in, I got the blue screen of death. Best Buy exchanged it for a new one which I have to say, I love this computer.... It's a nuisance, though, having to set a new computer up again only 10 days after I did that the last time.

This was not my first choice, it replaced the one I wanted but was also degradable. So Far I love how fast it is with changing it from a 16 to a 32 gig. It is a lot smaller and I am concerned over time that the case may be too small for good circulation to keep things from overheating.

Here are a few odd or unusual things that I have observed after three weeks of using this computer full-time. First, I have always had a minimum of three external USB-connected hard drives plugged in for every desktop PC that I have ever owned. This HP Envy Desktop will not power up correctly unless I first unplug one of these external hard drives. Secondly, until I completely shut off the "sleep" options, the PC did not perform smoothly or correctly. I would be using the computer and it would suddenly and oddly freeze up. These problems 100% went away as soon as I turned off the sleep options. So I would rate this PC as being "good enough for the price."

I've been enjoying using my new HP ENVY desktop computer. It's much faster than my old Dell was. I like that I can play CDs and DVDs on it, too. The Geek Squad lady that came and helped me hook up my Zoom and my printers was very helpful, also. I would recommend this computer.

Bought this item on the recommendation of my brother-in-law. It performs well and is quick and easy to use. Once the Geek Squad got it set up for me, it has been working like a champ. I still need to get used to all the new features, but it should last a long time.

    Inconvenient USB port placement

This computer has no internal HDD, so it needs an external one to store pictures and videos. But it has no USB 3 ports on the back of the tower to plug in a HDD drive; the USB 3 ports are only on the front. So you have to plug in the external drive in the front, leaving unsightly wires to dangle and entangle. It’s like if someone designed a home theatre receiver and placed all the HDMI ports on the front of the receiver.

Very happy Nice, fast computer Does exactly what I need it to do. Don't purchase if your intent is gaming, but everything else works very well. My wife uses it frequently and she is a tough critic, she has nothing but good things to say about this.

    Buyer Beware!

I bought this with the intention of refusing my old GPU and 650 watt power supply. Once I got it home and opened up the case, I saw that it didn't have a GPU power connector with the existing power supply even though it has a vacant x16 pci express slot. I figured as much with weak power supply it came with. Additionally and more importantly, I saw that it doesn't use a conventional form factor like a 24 pin ATX mother board power connector. HP, apparently is not happy enough to get the money they charge for their computer, they want you to buy their own proprietary HP power supply. So I reluctantly ordered a 500 watt HP power supply unit from HP parts. I assumed it would work with my model but couldn't check to see because HP would only say it fits over 200 models and couldn't list them all. I would have called the HP parts department but they don't have a customer service phone number or even a chat line, Literally, the only way to communicate with them is by email. The HP power supply I ordered was only 500 watts, the largest one they make but it was around $150 (almost 3 times more expensive than my 650 watt power supply I already had on hand). Once it arrived, I immediately installed it, but guess what, it didn't work. Apparently, the cable configuration is different between all the different motherboards that HP uses. Once I realized this I emailed the parts department (again couldn't call them since they don't have a number) to return the part but they said since it wasn't malfunctioning that there would be a $25 restock fee and I would have to pay for its shipping and handling. On top of that I'm still stuck with a computer with a vacant pci Express slot that I can't power since there's not a compatible power supply made for it in the 500 and above watt range. In the end, I returned the HP power supply and the HP computer for a computer on new egg. I spent less money, and have twice the computer with a standard form factor. I hope HP enjoys that $25 restocking fee that they snookered me out of, because it's the last dollar they will ever get out of me.

I am really enjoying this desktop computer and keyboard. I had an old HP Envy Desktop that lasted 8 years. It was slowwww. This baby is fast and I am having so much fun with it. It was easy to set up when I got home with it. I would recommend it.

WE have only had this computer for a month. So far it has met all our needs. It is especially fast compared to our older HP desk top. We do not use it for gaming so I cannot comment on this aspect but for everyday computing it works very well.

This is a good PC. I bought it to speed up my compiling from my video editing. My old machine was ok but much slower. It's a fast machine and capable of running many apps. The only thing I wish is it came wit more RAM for the price.

Machine worked superb until a windows update came in after a few days usage and the 'blue screen of death' appeared. Had to work with Windows techs for 3 hours to get it to back online (all methods to reinstall Windows would error out -- even attempting to boot from a USB disk). There were no existing restore points or functional recovery partitions. Sadly returned it. This is the first HP product I've owned that I've been disappointed with. * Purchased brand new

My previous desktop was more than 10 years old. The fans ran on overdrive and it was overly loud. This new model is the complete opposite and works like a charm w the basic programs that I run which are photo shop and Microsoft office.
