Good Machine. Not new though

The one we received had someone else's microsoft account and a few other things downloaded. So obviously not new. After a while on hold I was refunded some of the money.

Random Freezes require restart

I have tried all the trouble shooting steps on the HP website. All my updates are current but still the random freeze that locks up the computer. When it is working it is a solid fast computer that meets my needs. But for the price I would expect to get a computer that works out of the box. I will be returning/exchange this item today. Will update this review afterwards.

HP Tower

I would prefer the area where you plug in external items and where the ON switch is to be a lighter color. I cannot see the slots without shining a light on them.

I needed a computer with a DVD burner and this is one of the few desktops that had one. I have a fairly new HP laptop that doesn't have one and the stand alone DVD burners I have purchased don't work that well. This computer has everything I need at a price I could afford. I would recommend this desktop.

It was very easy to set up. It took me through all the steps and basically did the set up for me. It was nice that it came with a wireless mouse and keyboard.
